If you have ever wondered what a typical day is like on a dive charter boat, then this is the show for you!
ABOUT THE SHOW
"Dive Charter: A Day in the Life of a Dive Boat" is a web-based docu-reality show which reveals the daily operations of a dive charter boat. We are attempting to introduce SCUBA diving, dive charter boats and the Pompano Beach, FL area to both divers and non-divers alike all over the country. In addition to the reality content of the show, the topic of each episode includes an educational component as well.
THE SHOW SO FAR
In the 3 episodes already completed - available for viewing HERE - we have followed a student getting certified, shown the craziness that occurs during lobster mini-season and participated in a lionfish hunt, all the while providing a look at what goes on both above and below the water.
WHAT THE MONEY IS FOR
The money received for this project will go towards production expenses (so far financed by my own money) such as production crew salaries, camera and other production gear rentals/purchases, production crew charter boat expenses, editing costs, DVD production costs, etc. It will help us to continue to grow each episode as we go and be able to deliver a quality product to our fans.
As mentioned previously, 3 episodes have already been completed, with episode 4 currently in planning stages. We are currently booking shooting locations, doing research and gathering the troops. At this point we are planning to begin shooting episode 4 in July, and airing in August if everything goes well.
