42%, 41, 13 days and 22 days

Hello,

The numbers are growing, the pledges are coming in and you are the reason!

As of Sunday, March 5th at 3 pm PST, we are just shy of 42% of our Kickstarter Goal. When we push through that goal, we will be able to expand the number of communities within the Kwakwaka'wakw Nation we can visit and extend the time we can spend in them photographing and interviewing their elders. These remote First Nations communities have asked us to travel to their villages. If we blow past our goal, we will be able to go there. As one of our backers, you will get unique and exclusive images of these trips to these isolated communities available to you through a private Pledgers-Only page on our website before they appear in the book.

You are one of 41 enthusiastic, committed supporters of Dos Polacas. We are so lucky to have you following and supporting us and our work. We look forward to finishing this book project with you at our side, once we have moved past our initial goal.

13 days until our KICKSTARTER EVENT in Seattle! RSVP for this event on our website: click HERE. The venue has limited space so please, by all means, invite your friends and then let us know in the RSVP how many are coming. SPECIAL GUEST Headman Jim Thomas of the Tlingit Nation has stepped forward to vocally and creatively support our project through his own brand of storytelling, telling us about his Indigenous culture, history and family.

Finally, we only have 22 more days to meet then exceed our goal. It is your heart-felt support that has gotten us this far. Tell your friends, bring them on Sat March 18th, spread the word at your coffeeshop, grocery store and at work!

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts,

Sharon and Pamela
