Meet The Creators
Kip Atkinson studied 3D animation and has a degree in digital media. He creates virtual reality spaces, designs 3D characters and has been printing with 3D printers before it was cool. He and his college piers won the Student Emmy for Animation. He's an excellent designer and the characters are his personal creation. (He also did all the design of the animated characters on the box and website.)
Bowen Gines has personally written over 20 provisional patents for his own product ideas and inventions. He has built multiple successful companies and loves creating new ideas. He currently runs a roofing company in Utah. His favorite hobby is inventing new ideas. This is his first time using Kickstarter and he and Kip are super excited to get their game into as many hands as possible.
They have been creating and play testing Don't Bump The Table over the last year. It has just started getting exciting over the last few months as they have ironed out the game play and rules. They are confident that you will find it as fun as they and all their play testers have.

Why we are on Kickstarter
Our goal for the game is to get it into our backers hands quickly. We have been 3D printing the game characters and have found that in a few months we have been able to print about 250 games. Each set of characters takes about 3 hours and 22 minutes. (That is 750 sets of 10 characters or 7,500 characters we have printed so far.) We want to print more but we need more printers, and eventually we hope to be able to manufacture on an even larger scale.
We are hoping to raise $3,000 to use to purchase more 3D printers. If we raise more, then our goal will be to move from printing in the closet to getting an office location, and then purchasing more printers to fulfill orders quickly and efficiently.
We believe it will take us a few months to start delivering copies of Don't Bump The Table to our backers, but if you are an early backer, we have copies we will start to send out immediately upon the completion of our Kickstarter.
We are excited for you to experience Don't Bump The Table. We can only make this game happen with your help. Help us by sharing our Kickstarter with your friends and family. Our promise to you is a new and exciting table top game experience that we are sure you will enjoy, and as you do just please try to remember DON'T BUMP THE TABLE!

Risks and challenges
Printing 3D characters is time consuming. We hope to be able to get the characters injection molded at some point, but the estimates we have to do it have been very expensive and it has been far more cost effective to 3D print the characters. We like the idea of the game being 3D printed but on a large scale it may not make sense. If we ended up with a huge response to the game, it would be great to get to that point, but our current 3D printing model supports our boot strapping method.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
