About

(SixCubes) Six dice - adventure game in the genre of "adventure". Help the Cubes to solve puzzles and fight with opponents. Pass a lot of tests, use the unique abilities of different cubes by switching between the characters with the Backspace button.

At the end of each level you will find useful information, reminiscent of important achievements and the necessary knowledge in mathematics, physics and other useful information that we encounter in real life. For example, at the end of the first level you will see the multiplication table, in the second the Pi number, and in the third Isaac Newton's Laws.

So, go ahead to the adventure!

  • Six dice, six characters switch and learn abilities by pressing the Q button!
  • The blue cube with the star is the head of all the cubes, it can go farthest and it should go to new locations.
  • A cube with a cross on a brick-colored head, hovering above the ground is capable of destroying opponents in range when using the Q button, after use it is necessary to replenish energy.
  • The yellow cube is the fastest and most bouncing.
  • A green cube with an antenna on the head can search for hidden objects.
  • Have fun solving puzzles and learn or remember useful information at the end of each level :)

To the calculator in the phone, say no, multiplication table in memory, say yes!

In the final of one of the levels you will see the formulas of Isaac Newton.

The Team

Time to introduce yourself! We are DNOVEL, a small indie studio from Germany. But one gamer lives in Russia! We're two passionate gamers, who decided to dedicate ourselves to game development!

After gathering experience working in other multimedia projects and games, we've finally decided that it was time to do something creative by ourselves, forming DNOVEL!

A games developer since 2010. After graduation from Kyrgyz University, I worked at the financial sector as one of a few software development engineers mainly focusing on improving complex computing algorithms and inventing new ones. 

Working with Cocos2d-x since 2013 mainly focusing on art. My primary interest is in map design, animations and aesthetics. I love working on 2D games with a particular interest in mobile game UX/UI pixel design. This experience has given me the knowledge to professionally work on the front-end of this project as games have always been my passion since day one.


Strength Goals!

€190 - Achieved! Project is funded! We received your attention and minimal support. 

€7,500 - Achieved! More content and 50 game levels with useful knowledge.

€10,000 - Improved design and animation! With this stretch goal, we will endeavor to add more depth, and unique abilities for each core character!

If we are fortunate enough to be funded, we will go into more detail about each stretch goal. Likewise, should we hit all of these, more stretch goals will be posted.

So far we've been developing Tower Princess with no budget. We want to make every aspect of the game as polished and amazing as it can be, but we can't continue the current rate of development if there is no budget. 

That is the first reason why we're asking your help, if you pledge a small amount of money and help this to be a sucessful campaign, it will allow us to create and polish more content.

Your opinion is important to us. All comments on the Kickstarter game page will be reviewed and discussed with the team to improve the game.

Risks and challenges

As you may think, the main risk developing a game is not being able to finish it. We totally agree, that's why we've been developing SixCubes for more than four months before launching our Kickstarter, facing ourselves all the costs! We've already created the core of the working, and now we need your help to expand it and create a great game!

SixCubes is not the first DNOVEL project as a studio and we will finish the game 100%. We are a small and cohesive team, and we worked on the development of other games and multimedia projects.
And besides the opinions of other developers, we really appreciate the opinion of our community! Our goal is to allow the community to participate in the development of SixCubes. Making a game is a difficult journey, but it can also be interesting and rewarding for players.

As this is such an beta version of the game, you can expect the project to transform considerably between now and launch (should we hit our target goal). Delays or developments might arise, but should anything happen, we will be sure to post an update.

However, we believe that by keeping the project at a realistic size for a small team, and being transparent about the process, this should be more than manageable. Dnovel has already successfully completed a preparatory part, SixCubes, and is experienced with managing the workload needed to produce a game in a reasonable amount of time.
