Still picking up the book from time to time, once even to make a point to my own players after a session.
I'm going to bundle my RPG recaps in a book soon though because it's Star Wars I'm not even trying to figure out the rights, I'm just going to print a few copies for me and the players and keep it as a private project.
Can't wait to hear about which theme you'll choose for your next book. Is there enough in the Fantasy theme to fill a second book?
Hi Michael, thanks! I've started thinking about the next book... but it'll be at least another couple of months before I'm ready to go. I'm thinking March or April.
It looks like the post office forgot to notify me when the package arrived, and now it's been returned due to not being picked up in time. So what do I do now?
Scott: Make That Thing reported a handful of defective copies with that issue. They thought they caught them all, but one or two may have slipped through to backers. If you email me a photo showing the problem, I'll arrange for a new copy of the book to be sent to you.
Enjoying the book, but ... a thin protective film has come loose, starting at the back cover edge and going all the way around the binding to halfway across the front cover. It will not re-adhere where it has come loose. Has anyone else experienced this?
Yes, it's here! Glad I made a Kickstarter account for this. Both a GM (in Star Wars) and player (in D&D, Pathfinder and more) myself, as well as a LEGO fan and comic reader so naturally I love DMM's works.
The second book I ordered went to introducing a fellow GM to Irregular Webcomic.
Keep it up, if you ever do another one of these I'll definitely back it!
@Matthew Ryan: Yes, that's correct. The surveys will go out just before the books are ready to be posted, to make sure the addresses are all as up to date as possible.
David, did I understand correctly that you'll be sending out the surveys (at least for those of us who only got books) closer to when the books are actually ready to go out? (Not a complaint, as it hopefully helps cut down on the "whoops, I moved since then" issues that some will inevitably run into, just asking.)
Last minute backer. Groaned a bit about international postage, but then I thought, hey, with all the joy you've given me, paying back is only fair. However, what I really want Is a book of the cliffhangers series. In my mind that's easily the best theme. Please do it next!
Irregular Webcomic was the first ever comic I found and the first I binged on. I remember sitting in my uni hostel's computer room until late at night, making my way through the hundreds of strips. My love of webcomics stems mainly from this one and I'd love to have it next to those on my shelf.
If people continue to back within the next 40 hours like they did in the last 24 we may still reach the target :-) Please advertise where ever you can.
I still hadn't backed this project despite it being in my agenda for days now. Suddenly saw that deadline and that the target hasn't been reached yet - so I quickly backed for two books, one for a DMing colleague. Hope you reach your target, you deserve it!
Thanks, thanks, and thanks for the comments and pledges. I've started holding my breath as these last few days tick down. I really don't need this for my nerves! I've begun thinking about contingency plans, but I'd rather not have to invoke those, and am still hopeful we can get this funded.
Hi David! Good luck on the project! I don't know if there's enough time left, or if you even have enough time to do it, but one thing that I thought worked really well on the OOTS kickstarter and that could also work here, is that you could offer a bonus PDF story for every backer, regardless of pledge, but don't make it available anywhere else. It could be a good incentive!
Use this space to cheer the creator along, and talk to your fellow backers.
Have a question?

Got the book in Norway as well. Looking great and for once I'm glad the (not so small) kids are not awake when I am. Less competition.

@Vidar Ambrosiani: Cliffhangers is number 1 on my list for a follow-up book too, so you may be in luck! :-)
