Hi Bart, I'm starting to think about the next book. It'll probably be Cliffhangers. No, there isn't enough new Fantasy material for a second book yet!

    2. Bart on January 24, 2017

Still picking up the book from time to time, once even to make a point to my own players after a session.

I'm going to bundle my RPG recaps in a book soon though because it's Star Wars I'm not even trying to figure out the rights, I'm just going to print a few copies for me and the players and keep it as a private project.

Can't wait to hear about which theme you'll choose for your next book. Is there enough in the Fantasy theme to fill a second book?

    3. David Morgan-Mar 2-time creator on January 5, 2017

Hi Michael, thanks! I've started thinking about the next book... but it'll be at least another couple of months before I'm ready to go. I'm thinking March or April.

    4. Michael Pedersen on January 4, 2017

So... when's the next book coming out? This was so well run, I wanna buy the next book!

    5. David Morgan-Mar 2-time creator on September 15, 2016

Jens: I'll let Make That Thing know, and they'll send your book back again. Sorry about that!

It looks like the post office forgot to notify me when the package arrived, and now it's been returned due to not being picked up in time. So what do I do now?

    7. David Morgan-Mar 2-time creator on September 9, 2016

Scott: Make That Thing reported a handful of defective copies with that issue. They thought they caught them all, but one or two may have slipped through to backers. If you email me a photo showing the problem, I'll arrange for a new copy of the book to be sent to you.

Enjoying the book, but ... a thin protective film has come loose, starting at the back cover edge and going all the way around the binding to halfway across the front cover. It will not re-adhere where it has come loose. Has anyone else experienced this?

Got the book in Norway as well. Looking great and for once I'm glad the (not so small) kids are not awake when I am. Less competition.

    10. Bart on August 28, 2016

Yes, it's here! Glad I made a Kickstarter account for this. Both a GM (in Star Wars) and player (in D&D, Pathfinder and more) myself, as well as a LEGO fan and comic reader so naturally I love DMM's works.

The second book I ordered went to introducing a fellow GM to Irregular Webcomic.

Keep it up, if you ever do another one of these I'll definitely back it!

Quote from my eldest after I opened a package, "ohh, that's a nice looking new book." Maybe I can get him to read it.

      Once I'm done.

I am very happy to hear that it is coming soon. I have a friend I plan to introduce this to.

    19. David Morgan-Mar 2-time creator on June 21, 2016

@Matthew Ryan: Yes, that's correct. The surveys will go out just before the books are ready to be posted, to make sure the addresses are all as up to date as possible.

    20. Matthew Ryan on June 21, 2016

David, did I understand correctly that you'll be sending out the surveys (at least for those of us who only got books) closer to when the books are actually ready to go out? (Not a complaint, as it hopefully helps cut down on the "whoops, I moved since then" issues that some will inevitably run into, just asking.)

    21. David Morgan-Mar 2-time creator on April 29, 2016

@Wyvernsrose Yikes! Hopefully yes, they'll sort it out. Let them know, and let me know if you need a hand.

Wow, I can still scarcely believe the last 48 hours of this campaign! Now the hard behind-the-scenes work begins to get your rewards to you.

@Vidar Ambrosiani: Cliffhangers is number 1 on my list for a follow-up book too, so you may be in luck! :-)

    24. Oliver Korpilla on April 28, 2016

Congrats! I'm really glad the usual end-of-KS rush did happen! :)

    25. IRDC on April 28, 2016

      Yeah! Congratulations!

    26. Bart on April 28, 2016

      It's official now, congratulations!

    27. Andrew Ekstedt on April 28, 2016

      Funded! Congrats!

    28. Michael Pedersen on April 27, 2016

Sorry I was so late to back. You've given me more than a few laughs over the years, though, and I wanted to make sure to give something back.

Thank you for the laughs and the fun. And congrats on making the goal!

    29. Vidar Ambrosiani on April 27, 2016

Last minute backer. Groaned a bit about international postage, but then I thought, hey, with all the joy you've given me, paying back is only fair. However, what I really want Is a book of the cliffhangers series. In my mind that's easily the best theme. Please do it next!

    31. Charles Creffield on April 27, 2016

made it, with 21 hours still to go!

    32. IRDC on April 27, 2016

I can't stop myself from coming back here to check if we are still over 22.000 AUD :-)

    33. Bart on April 27, 2016

Wow, those last 24 hours really gave it a boost! Congrats on getting the target!

Irregular Webcomic was the first ever comic I found and the first I binged on. I remember sitting in my uni hostel's computer room until late at night, making my way through the hundreds of strips. My love of webcomics stems mainly from this one and I'd love to have it next to those on my shelf.

      Wow, what a eucatastrophe!

I was already starting to feel sad the other day about the project failing... and then somehow it's gone and turned around at the last minute. : )

    37. IRDC on April 27, 2016

Unbelievable! Just 69 AUD missing :-)

    38. IRDC on April 26, 2016

If people continue to back within the next 40 hours like they did in the last 24 we may still reach the target :-) Please advertise where ever you can.

    39. Bart on April 26, 2016

I still hadn't backed this project despite it being in my agenda for days now. Suddenly saw that deadline and that the target hasn't been reached yet - so I quickly backed for two books, one for a DMing colleague. Hope you reach your target, you deserve it!

    41. David Morgan-Mar 2-time creator on April 23, 2016

Thanks, thanks, and thanks for the comments and pledges. I've started holding my breath as these last few days tick down. I really don't need this for my nerves! I've begun thinking about contingency plans, but I'd rather not have to invoke those, and am still hopeful we can get this funded.

Hi David! Good luck on the project! I don't know if there's enough time left, or if you even have enough time to do it, but one thing that I thought worked really well on the OOTS kickstarter and that could also work here, is that you could offer a bonus PDF story for every backer, regardless of pledge, but don't make it available anywhere else. It could be a good incentive!

Can you get some publicity through Steve Jackson? He seemed to have an interest in the comic in the past...

    49. IRDC on April 18, 2016

LG is the only other lego based webcomic I read. Maybe there are other artists that might be willing to mention this, too.

@ IRDC: Thanks for that. I should have thought of contacting Dusan myself - I'm glad you did!
