Chasm is Funded!

Chasm has been successfully funded! We reached 127% of our goal by raising $191,897 from 6,938 dedicated fansThank you so much everyone for your amazing and truly inspiring support.

Humble Store pre-orders will continue to work towards our Stretch Goals for the next year, so don't worry if we didn't hit your favorite. We should hopefully reach Arena mode soon, and then start working towards Crafting. We'll keep you up to date as Goals are reached.

We just moved up to #8 on Greenlight, so hopefully we'll be getting approved in the next month or so. Please keep the votes coming in to help secure our position!

We'll have some more info coming soon on our next steps, but it's time to take a quick breather and regroup before we jump into Pre-Production. Thank you so much once again for helping make Chasm a reality!

Please disregard the part of my previous post about the soundtrack. I found the download links for the individual songs right under the general streaming section. Cheers!

      Congratulations on the funding!

I have a question. In Update #7, it was mentioned the demo soundtrack was available for download on SoundCloud. I currently don't see a download link on the file. Did I miss the deadline for downloading it? Thanks.

Do you think you could start the early access close to day 1 of development? As somebody who has done actual beta testing I'd like to do what I can to help.
I understand that it's daunting to share the crude early stages of work, but distributing nightly builds via SVN in the early stages should screen out most of the people who lack the technical experience to have reasonable expectations for engine tests and the like.

Oh, and a word of advice: If you think you might add a feature later then design your engine so you can actually do so; it's easy to put yourself in a position where adding what should be a simple feature would require scrapping and redoing a prohibitive amount of code.

Fantastic ! But i prefer having a huge solo history mode than an arena mode and crafting is more important too :D

(I'm talking like i'm the big boss right now haha)

Anyway, it's a great project and i loved the demo, hope the game will have the attention that it deserve !!

I hope that we can get up to the crafting stretch goal

@Justin We will probably roll some stuff out earlier. I have a feeling the soundtrack will be ready some time before the game. The Compendium will probably be last since we need to wait until all the content is done to start working on it. We'll work out a rough schedule and post an update to give everyone an idea soon.

If I was a programmer this is the game I would have made. It weaves all of my favorite childhood games together to make the backdrop for an awesome gameplay experience. I wish I could have given more I was looking forward to crafting! Good Luck and Congratulations!

"Humble has offered to do fulfillment for all the digital Kickstarter rewards!"
Does this mean we'll eventually see all the rewards or that at time of release they will all be complete?

Congrats! Quick question; Will people who pledged throw Kickstarter be able to get the stuff throw the Humble Bundle store? And congrats again for obtaining your goal!
