$42,916 pledged of $200,000 goal

Some changes have been made to the rewards based on feedback from fans. This new edition of rewards was proposed to us by backers, then was discussed and approved by us. Now , before to send this edition to Kickstarter asking them to change current rewards, we would like you ALL to read this spreadsheet to let us be sure - NO ONE has anything against the new edition.

In overall, here in new edition we DIDN'T replace rewards from your current tiers, but give you MORE than was before.

If there will be no objections before Saturday 10AM US Eastern Coast time after this update post, we will send it to Kickstarter administration asking to perform changes.

PLEDGE $1: On the basis of your feedback, we've rebuilt the reward structure! Everyone's getting more of everything, but please check your pledge to make sure - and feel free to ask for help in making changes.

PLEDGE $5: WALLPAPER SET: A large collection of Skyjacker wallpapers for your PC, Mac, tablet or mobile device, along with our heartfelt thanks.  We appreciate your contribution!

Materials and exact design to be determined - but it'll be nice. Don't worry about the shipping cost even if you're outside the US, we'll take care of it. And we'll attach your name to a character in-game (or leave it as a designation, your choice).

PLEDGE $5000: AVATAR EDITION: As the Wardrobe Edition, plus: we'll put you in the game. We'll animate YOU in 3D as the subject for a CUSTOM PLAYER CHARACTER. This includes your face and proportions, a personal logo, and the highest category of criminal community rating in the game. Only you can play as this character (we'll give you a secret code to activate it) but other players can hire you as an NPC, so they'll get to enjoy it too!

PLEDGE $10000: EXECUTIVE EDITION: As the Avatar Edition, plus: with your permission, we'll use your character in our promotional campaigns. You'll be on our posters, in our trailers, and on whatever other media we produce. Furthermore we cordially invite you to have lunch and hang out with us in Los Angeles, CA, USA. We're from Russia - we know how to party. (Please contact us directly to make personal arrangements before the end of the campaign.)

Thank you for that spreadsheet! Very Helpful!!!!

    2. DIGITILUS 4-time creator on May 21, 2012

@ GeekBoi - Ahm, sorry, maybe I misunderstood you. Spreadsheet is here…

    3. DIGITILUS 4-time creator on May 21, 2012

@ GeekBoi - we cannot - it's technically impossible, cause we are blocked to make change of any tier, which has at least one backer (and sure no reason to change others, while previous stay like they are now).
Only Kickstarter can do this. That's why we sent them a ticket (actually two already!) and are waiting for their response - when they will do this. In case if they will delay, we will be forced to create double set of tiers today. But that would be a total mess to ask everybody to jump from their current tier to the new one. So would be better to get it changed by Kickstarter staff.

    4. GeekBoi on May 21, 2012

Can you update the spreadsheet, please?

    5. DIGITILUS 4-time creator on May 20, 2012

If they will refuse us to change, we will need to create levels 16, 21, 31 etc and will ask all backers to jump to new layers, but ugghhh ... would be better if Kickstarter confirm our proposal and make changes tomorrow.

    6. Veav on May 20, 2012

@Yuchen Thanks! We're happy with it too - just have to find out if Kickstarter themselves are. Stupid weekends. }:D

    7. Chairman Wang on May 20, 2012

The reworked tiers are worded ALOT better, great work.

    8. DIGITILUS 4-time creator on May 20, 2012

@ Noe - check your mail, just sent you a message. We need to get from you those files to understand the reason of such errors. Looking forward to get those files

    9. KazuyaDarklight on May 20, 2012

Lvls, look fine to me. Good luck guys.

    10. Noe Ridgway on May 20, 2012

Now it shows a white screen after I launch, and something called "ENGINE CRITICAL ERROR." Then it crashes to desktop. I tried the game.log thing, and I have full Admin rights on this account.

    11. DIGITILUS 4-time creator on May 19, 2012

ahm ... you must save that file in a root directory of the game (check where it's installed)

    12. DIGITILUS 4-time creator on May 19, 2012

      @ Noe
You are not alone today - means runtime error under Vista. What about Administrator's right of your account? It's possible your account has limited rights and the game cannot create game.log Try to create empty file in Notepad, save it and rename to game.log Let me know what will you get then please

    13. Noe Ridgway on May 19, 2012

I downloaded the demo and installed, but it is giving me a runtime error, and refuses to start. I am running Vista. I installed everything that came with the file. Is this a known error?

    14. DIGITILUS 4-time creator on May 19, 2012

OK! Just sent request with new rewards chart to Kickstarter to be approved and changed. Let's wait for their response now.

    15. DIGITILUS 4-time creator on May 19, 2012

Ok, please revise new edition above, and if it;'s Ok - we are sending it to Kickstarter asking to change our current spec.

    16. Veav on May 19, 2012

    17. Veav on May 19, 2012

We intend to? We want to? I don't know how to phrase it. All rewards are 100% discounts on future goods. }:D

    18. Gavin Phoenix on May 19, 2012

I'd watch it because you run the risk on having Kickstarter cancel the campaign by mentioning it!

    19. Veav on May 19, 2012

"There are some limitations on what can be offered as a reward. Investment and loan solicitations are forbidden, as are lotteries, raffles, sweepstakes, and coupons/discounts on future goods." So we can't formally offer the $5 discount, but we're gonna do it anyway afterwards.

    20. Veav on May 19, 2012

@Gavin Yeah, the current spreadsheet is ALSO being revised. Beta access kicks in at the $25 tier, but since the $30 bundle is a two-pack of the $20 tier, beta is not included.

    21. Gavin Phoenix on May 19, 2012

The above was supposed to be a question but I seem to have missed the bit that defines it as a question. The question mark! lol.

    22. Gavin Phoenix on May 19, 2012

Oh. The $30 tiers do not include the beta access. I believe that is correct from what I'm reading. (which is different from the current spreadsheet)

    23. Gavin Phoenix on May 19, 2012

Everything else looks good to me :)

    24. Veav on May 19, 2012

@Gavin Not anymore, we're going to put the soundtrack in the $15 too. Good call.

    25. DIGITILUS 4-time creator on May 19, 2012

oops,. you're right, we will change immediately

    26. Gavin Phoenix on May 19, 2012

Is it correct that the $15 does not include the soundtrack but the $20 does?

    27. Gavin Phoenix on May 19, 2012

Does the new $40(A) bundle include both of the expansion packs?

    28. DIGITILUS 4-time creator on May 19, 2012

Ok, as I understand, the only comment is to repair 'AND' to 'PLUS' , correct? Actually, others use both AND and PLUS or + Ok, I will repair and update soon

    29. Veav on May 19, 2012

Hm, good point! I'll see if we can't sneak that edit in before everything locks down.

      sgllama on May 19, 2012

Oops, I left my comment on upate #7 and didn't spot that you already had update #8 up. So to repeat myself a bit...

This version is *very* good, but I think that there is still a risk of ambiguity using the word "and" as

PLEDGE $15: Special Edition: The wallpaper collection, and: ...

whereas using "plus" is just a bit clearer:

PLEDGE $15: Special Edition: The wallpaper collection, plus: ...

which is the way that you have written the $10 level.

    31. Veav on May 19, 2012

On the off-chance a backer doesn't catch any of this and ends up with an inappropriate reward tier, we'll make sure they get what they wanted. Thank you, everyone, for helping us make this work!

    32. Veav on May 19, 2012

      5-12 hours. }:D

    33. Veav on May 19, 2012

The revamp has been submitted to Kickstarter and is pending review (probably for 12 hours or so, since it's way after hours for them now). Apart from cosmetics, the substantial changes to the above proposal are:
      * Broadcast Edition no longer receives a third t-shirt, so Hardcover has that privilege.
      * Wardrobe Edition now receives a snazzy personalized jacket rather than a personalized shirt or a stack of other shirts. We decided it's better to go all in on one thing.
      * All pledges are now good for $5 off digital goods once this all goes gold, so if you don't want buy in for the soundtrack now for instance, you can get $5 off later. Same goes for the game itself and the expansion pack.

    34. DIGITILUS 4-time creator on May 19, 2012

@ Gerasimos Tselentis - it's Eugene here. We worked with Veav on this spec all this time, so just finished. and I agree, we need to give more time to others to revise everything before we will send it to Kickstarter to do changes. I guess, 5-6 hours will be enough - until NYC morning time, when Kickstarter can do changes

    35. Veav on May 19, 2012

With the other stuff currently in (shirt, poster) we couldn't put in the box without losing money, and we couldn't take out those elements without running afoul of Kickstarter rules. Once we've got these changes in place, maybe we can do something for a box edition near that price point without the other stuff.

    36. Veav on May 19, 2012

It ended up being more like 3 hours, so you got here in time. Still - sorry about that! We had to strike while the iron was hot.

    37. Gerasimos Tselentis on May 19, 2012

I'd consider the $100 tier if it included a boxed copy of the game. $200 seems a bit high for those that want a boxed copy. Unless it includes a physical art book as well. Also don't forget you have a few backers not in your timezone, and they won't be able to give you feedback in the 1 hour.

    38. Veav on May 18, 2012

      After high-level negotiations:

PLEDGE $1200: Wardrobe Edition: As the Hardcover Edition, and: we'll have our designers make you an exclusive jacket of your very own! Materials and design to be determined (with your input) - but it'll be nice. Don't worry about the shipping cost even if you're outside the US - we'll take care of it. And we'll attach your name to a character in-game (or leave it as a designation, your choice).

This should gravely impact all 0 of you who have pledged $1200.

    39. Veav on May 18, 2012

@uberfleas No, BUT you'd get that at the $60 level. Beta access AND the free expansion, for two. }:D

    40. Missing avatar

      uberfleas on May 18, 2012

I was at the $80 level because I wanted beta access for both my husband and me. Is that still what we would get at the $80 level? I don't care about the name, just the two copies. Thanks!

    41. Veav on May 18, 2012

We're putting together an amended spreadsheet to fit the proposal right now. It's going to be three times as awesome.

    42. Veav on May 18, 2012

The $60 level is two copies of the $40 level, so yes - artbook, beta, forum access, all the good stuff. That one you wouldn't actually get the name.

    43. Robert V Frazier on May 18, 2012

One thing that isn't clear: does the new $60 level include the stuff in the lower levels? In particular, I want the art book. And the beta game and forum access. My name in the credits is cool, too, but not that important to me. I suppose I can find someone to give the extra copy of the game to.

    44. Smeggit on May 18, 2012

      Looks good, big improvement.

    45. Veav on May 18, 2012

It's listed under $40A - we've merged the expansion packs, so you get to explore planets AND blow the crap out of their defenders. Sorry for the confusion!

    46. Jeritza Goris on May 18, 2012

Wait im confused. Which is the one where you get the game, the expansion which lets you explore planets, the soundtrack, etc, and the beta access? (the old $40-b one)

    47. momentsofpassion on May 18, 2012

Sorry - please ignore my comment. You DID mention it at the $15 pledge. *d'oh*

    48. Veav on May 18, 2012

@moments Now that's a good idea! We can mention with the first bundle that you can mix-and-match PC and Mac editions.
