We made it!
Our Kawangi nova ship has blown up its first target, and it's time to celebrate! Big thank you to everyone who has pledged their support and made completion of this project possible! As promised, we're now going to spill the beans on our mystery team. Most everybody has a website so you can go and see their previous work; I think you'll be surprised and delighted by their incredible talents :) Without further ado, please meet the team:
Iikka Keranen began programming games at the ripe old age of ten, and has worked in the industry full-time since 1998 when he moved to America. During this time, he has co-designed and programmed all of Digital Eel's computer games while also working for companies such as Ion Storm, Looking Glass, Rogue and Valve.
Rich Carlson is a musician from Minnesota who took a detour into level design and met Iikka at Ion Storm. In addition to design and writing, he is responsible for all the music and sound effects in Digital Eel's computer games (until now) and has won several awards for this work.
Max Badger is a Xeric Award winning cartoonist, based in Seattle. He draws comics and lots of pictures, some of which are online at www.maxbadger.com
David Cash is a digital artist/web developer based in Central TX. He has worked in various capacities in the game biz since 1997. Dave is fond of Bull Terriers, Russian Blue cats and tormenting friends with bad guitar sounds. His website: www.robot-fighter.com
Christopher Greenhaw has been making games for a long time in some way or another. Games such as American Mcgee's Alice and Halo 3. He s also a musician who has been playing drums since he was 13. See more at http://derelict.makeartbutton.com/
Jami Moravetz has been a 3d environment artist for games such as Resistance on PSP and Counter Strike: Global Offensive. Edwin Sykes is a UK-based composer who has created music for film, television and radio including the great BBC radio drama "The Scarifyers". Some of his music can be heard at http://www.myspace.com/edwinsykes
W. Ralph Walters was born near the swamps of Southern Louisiana and began obsessively drawing skulls at two years of age.
