Fury Young is a multi-disciplinary artist from Lower East Side NYC. In 2013, inspired by Pink Floyd’s The Wall and Michelle Alexander’s book The New Jim Crow, Young conceived the idea for a concept album about racial injustice in the US prison system. Though Young had no prior experience with music production, his personal experiences with friends who had been to prison led to him taking on the project with a ceaseless conviction.
