I'm in the same boat as Stacey, I'm moving in August and REALLY hope I get the game before then, because I won't know my new address until mid-July.
How nice of you to post pictures of the base game and expansion that you will be giving me at Origins.
*wink* *wink* *nudge* *nudge*
I'm sure I'm not the first one to ask, but when will we be able to submit mailing addresses? I'm moving soon and want to make sure the game shows you at the right place.
Really excited for the game. Thanks @
But does it all fit in the main box??????
Wow, everything looks great! I really like how the Geiger counter turned out. Thanks for the update!
@Kristian - I can appreciate that. But there really wasn't much of anything between our last update and this one that created an adverse effect on our delivery timeline. The last proofs we received before these were the ones we shared via the update, and between now and then we haven't really seen much else except for a proof for card back color-matching. So our timeline from the last update was what we expected until we received these and were informed of what we could realistically expect. Essentially, we're telling all of you what we know when we know it, not something we don't know just to fill up space. Does that make sense? Not to make light of what you were saying - we totally understand. But we do want you to know that we're not avoiding anyone, and we do intend to update when we have something solid. That's part of the DHMG Kickstarter creed. It's always been that way, and it always will be. Thanks for the support and enthusiasm! I'm so glad you like what you see.
Grumbling aside, it does look great and I am excited to receive the expansion.
I appreciate that you guys try not to inundate us with updates, however I understand the frustration when there is a lack of updating, then when an update does happen, there's been several weeks of bleeding to the delivery date. I believe it was two updates (2 months?) ago that delivery was expected in June. For myself, I would appreciate an interim update where you shared what you've received, what needs to change, and a statement that this necessary change will adversely impact your lead time. It's harder for me to get excited about all the good news when it's punctuated by "oh yeah, when we made all these decisions (a while ago) to make it right, we lost another 4+ weeks."
