Bubbling Over!

Greetings chemistry gamers,

Well, you did it - we crossed the $85K funding mark! And that means that we can put an upgraded, deluxe scoreboard right in the box! Unbelievable - and just look at that beautiful curve.

With a little over 3 days left in the campaign, we have one more stretch goal in us. Luckily, we had one in mind that has been Darrell's wish from the very beginning, but it's not cheap, and it's something we only wanted to offer strictly to Kickstarter backers (because it will take the MSRP of the base game too high). And, so, we introduce the $95K stretch goal - test tubes to hold the player pieces!

That's right, if we pass $95K by the end of the campaign, we'll include test tubes with stoppers in each of the player colors for each game that is pledged for in the campaign. These will only be for Kickstarter backers, and not included in the box. So get out there and spread the word - with over 1,700 of you talking to your friends, coworkers and networks, we should be able to reach $95K by the end.

Most importantly, thank you for making this a wonderful Valentine's Day gift for all of us - but also thank you for making this a fantastic birthday present for designer Darrell Louder. Yep, he was born on Valentine's Day, so today is extra special!

All the best,
Chris, Cherilyn & Darrell

I would also like to know if the test tubes can fit in the box...

Potentially stupid question... Given that these test tubes are for Kickstarter backers only and won't be included in the on-the-shelf product, will the packaging of the game be designed so that the tubes can be stored in the box? If I bring Compounded over to my friends' houses, it'd suck to carry around five loose tubes.

95K? You make it too easy. Give us a challenge!

Hi I would like to pledge for additional World Chemistry 101 sets as gifts, would it be possible if I did, that the sets be sent to different parts of the world? Thnx in advance and way looking forward to getting the finished games.

@D.H.M.G. : Personally I wish there was a way to get some of your past KS exclusives for some of your past projects (VivaJava Geekspansion or burlap bean bag) and would gladly pledge additional monies for a chance to pick up some these extras.

@Shaun - The tubes we have in mind are, indeed, plastic. We'd definitely like to keep it that way, as we don't want to have to worry about 1800+ glass tubes being handled by ANY shipping carrier. :)

Since I seriously doubt that anyone does not want these test tubes, everyone up your pledge by 10 bucks (or more) and we will EASILY hit this goal!!! Upping mine now!

Are they plastic? I don't really want them to break..

I agree. I would add another $10.00 for a set of these (or an extra set)

Just wondering in case we don't reach the 95K. What are the dimensions of the test tubes?
