About this project
FOOL FOR LOVE
Holed up in a seedy motel on the edge of the Mojave Desert, two former lovers unpack the deep secrets and dark desires of their tangled relationship, passionately tearing each other apart. Beaten down by ill-fated love and a ruthless struggle for identity, can they ultimately live with, or without, each other?
McQueen & Company, lead by Diana McQueen (Lost Colony, Venus in Fur (RLT)) and Andy Hayworth (Director of Fool for Love, Time Stands Still), are currently striving to bring an explosive intensity to Sam Shepard’s (Buried Child, True West) landmark myth of the new Wild West to Triangle audiences.
Fool for Love will run for 12 shows.

Where is your money going?
Lots of work goes into creating excellent theatre experiences. It takes not only a team of well-trained professionals, but also help from the community and top-notch services, which is what your donation will help provide.
When you donate to this campaign you are helping us do the following:
-Build the set. We have an excellent, realistic set design by Ami Kirk Jones. We would love your help in funding it, to make our show as immersive and intimate as possible.
-Pay for technical equipment. This show is surprisingly tech heavy with a sequence of lights and sound cues during the climax! Part of your donation will go to procuring what we need to make this a seamless experience including extra lights and sound equipment.
-Protect our performance with insurance. Part of your donation will help offset the heavy cost of protecting the show through excellent insurance. Safety first!
-Help us make the show more accessible. There are excellent services in the triangle that strive to help disabled community members enjoy more theatre. To hire these wonderful people we need a little help from you! We also want to provide child care for those busy parents so they don't have to miss out on this awesome production. Your donation will help us reach out to them as well.
-Helping us get the word out to reach more people. We can extend our reach with you help, and create live and online experience for many more audiences.
All of this is in process now and it's shaping up to be a powerful experience. With you help we can make it even better, by helping us to focus on the creation of the performance! Thank you so much for your help!
