About Dragon Valley
In Dragon Valley, players take on the role of Barons that must defend the Kingdom, but most importantly their own Baronies, from the attacking orcs and dragons. The King sends aid in the form of knights, archers, blacksmith shops, defensive towers and special abilities to his favorite for that round. That Baron must separate the King's Aid into caravans of troops, building materials and special abilities. Be careful though to not make one group of Aid too powerful or your feudal opponents will grow in power.
Once the Aid has arrived to your Barony, use it wisely to either build impenetrable defenses, upgrade your troops in order to combat the invaders as they enter through the mountain pass or take the fight to them using siege equipment.
Now that the minimum funding has been reached, let's go for the following add on rewards!
Because we reached $18,000, each Kickstarter backer who pledged $50 or more will
receive a free copy of the mini-games with the designer's prototype art
on postcard mats.
At $21,000, the artwork will be upgraded to professional art.
At $25,000, the professional artwork mini-games will be mounted on board stock.
* - These are not exclusives, Kickstarter backers of >$50 will receive a free copy. If any of these goals are reached, the mini-games will be available for sale in the near future.
What are the mini-games?
The mini-games were designed during the early design phases of Dragon Valley. They can be played by themselves or provide entertainment to players while the other player(s) divide the King's Aid. They can provide real, in-game victory points. This creates a nice, integrated timer within the game.

How Pledging Works
If you haven't pledged to a Kickstarter project before, here are some tips. You can pledge any amount, you don't have to stick with the pledge levels on the right. The levels are just the minimum for the various gifts. After you pledge, Kickstarter will send you over to Amazon. Neither Kickstarter nor Diamond K Games will ever see your financial information. Your credit card will be charged only if the project is successful, and only at the end of the funding period. Once funded, we will follow up with you on the details of your rewards.
Once the funds are received from Amazon, the required payments will be provided to the manufacturer to begin. If you pledge at a the $50 level or above, your gift(s) will ship as soon as the shipment is received, targeted for January 5, 2012.
The t-shirt concept artwork is below. Once the project is successful, a professional artist will create the final artwork to be used on the t-shirt. If you would like to add a t-shirt to a funding level, just add $25 per shirt you would like. That even goes for the $25 t-shirt level. For example, if you select the $25 level and make the donation value $75, you will receive three t-shirts.
