What could be better than 660 cards of hilarity?
Bad Decisions is a party game for 3+ players (easily supporting up to 12). You and your friends can enjoy playing it for 10 minutes or 100 or anywhere in between. Intended for ages 13 and up, but we've marked the racier cards so you can easily weed them out to get a completely PG set can be played with friends and family and other groups for whom a PG-only game is appropriate.
Released just over a year ago, Bad Decisions has already sold more than 1200 copies, through a combination of game stores, convention appearances, and the initial appearance of the game on Kickstarter. Because the core set has been receiving praise from game stores, designers, and players alike, we’re ready to expand the possibilities for stories of foolish reactions to crisis situations.

5 Themes, Great Variety
We’re bringing the terrible ideas, crazy situations and foolish characters up a notch by offering you 50 new cards for each of the Fool, Crisis, and Bad Decision decks, and 15 new Story cards, for a total of 165 new cards. These come to you in sets of 33 (10 each in the player decks and 3 new stories), playing with the following themes:
In the Bedroom - Bad decisions in such an intimate setting are sure to titillate and amuse. The individual cards won’t go past PG-13 content, but the combinations may well suggest much more.
In Politics - With the amazing bad decisions studding the recent American presidential election cycle on all sides, what better time to lampoon the foolishness of politics in general? These cards cover possibilities from political situations pretty much anywhere you find people.
In the Military - Whether it’s academy cadets, privates in boot camp, or career officers not being able to find their "objective" with a GPS, a map, and a flashlight, you’ll find plenty of military un-intelligence to laugh at in these cards.
At Fan Conventions - We've had some great experiences at fandom events, but some unfortunate people manage to have really ... not-great ... experiences too.
In B-Movies - Old double-feature movies had a primary and a secondary feature. The B really refers to the less desirable B-grade film studios packaged for sale with the more desirable A-grade films. The B is also often synonymous with "bad" as well because of the low budgets involved. A lot of bad decisions were made here, both by the people making the movies, and by the stereotypical characters in them.
Make/100: Custom Cards
Thanks to the magic of print on demand, you also have another option: the custom set. Inspired by Kickstarter's Make/100 initiative, we are offering up to 100 backers the chance to have a 33 card set tailored to their tastes by our team. You tell us a theme, and we will develop cards on that theme for you: 10 fools, 10 crises, 10 bad decisions, and 3 stories. We'll then print and send you your very own personalized edition of these cards, with your name on them and everything.
Customization for everyone?
Although custom sets are a limited run, we're also producing a set of blank cards. With the white space on the card fronts entirely un-sullied by text, these sets of 33 blanks (in the same proportions as the custom set) give you the chance to write in whatever you want, even if it's only funny to you. In addition to the cards, these blank sets come with stickers! Specifically, the stickers will go onto the story cards to give you the graphical "Fool," "Crisis," and "Bad Decision" blanks as they appear on our printed ones:
So really, there's no limit to the Bad Decisions you can make with us!

Risks and challenges
Disclosure: We promised a collectors' edition version of our first kickstarter-backed game, Kitsune: of Foxes and Fools, which we haven't finished yet. We did deliver the core of the project, including basic games to let those who ordered the deluxe version keep playing meanwhile, however, and we are committed to delivering the special edition in 2017. We would have done so in 2016, but President and editor Susan, one of our core team members had both major abdominal surgery and 6 months of chemotherapy during the first half of 2016. As you can imagine, the financial and productivity burden of this delayed all our professional projects by not only that six months, but also the time spent getting back up to speed.
That said, we have delivered the core offering of two game kickstarters before, and have learned quite a bit about this process. We are confident we can fulfill what we are promising on this project based on our production and shipping solutions. Everything is in place and the content simply has to be dropped in, which it is ready for, and the printing costs paid.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
