Even though we will not meet our Kickstarter goal, we made great progress. We have booked screenings, events, media, & received private investments. We are heading to Mobile on May 28th to start photographing & filming!

You may have noticed we went quiet, but not because we were giving up!  This story is about adversity and so it's fitting that Ms. Venus & I had life events get in the way during the campaign. We have decided to cancel the Kickstarter campaign for now and may relaunch later.

Ms. Venus, the star of our documentary had a stall at Mobile Pride and managed to raise $350 for the documentary!!  Ms. Venus is a well loved icon in Mobile and the people all came out to show their support for this courageous woman!!

We have just booked screenings for the documentary at the Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Center and The Cresent Theatre in Mobile!!

We have also been offered to screen the documentary at the Long Beach Gay and Lesbian Center!

We have begun canvassing Los Angeles and Mobile with our Equality posters and expect more pledges to roll in. We have tons of verbal commitments, but we still need your help getting the word out.
