Things I Learned Yesterday
Things that I learned during our productive and exciting story meeting yesterday:
- ZOMPOCALYPSO star Chris Meister went to college with Jon Hamm and performed in a comedy troop with Jason Sudeikas.
- ZOMPOCALYPSO star Mike Manship drove across the country from the East Coast last summer, stopping along the way to get people's opinions on the state of the country as research for his second novel. Tentative title? "In the Sh**ter." His first novel, Cambridge Street, is out now.
- ZOMPOCALYPSO is poised to be the first Apocalyptic Zombie film that will prominently feature neither an Apocalypse nor Zombies. Ultimately, the story is about two brothers who harbor very different reasons for believing 2012 is the end of the world as we know it, and chronicles how they decide to prepare for it. Although I joke about it being heartwarming, it really will feature characters you'll care about when sh** starts to get real.
- ZOMPOCALYPSO needs more backers. Tell your friends! Tell your mother! Tell your friend's mother!
As always, thanks for supporting our project. More updates to come...
