About this project

ZOMPOCALYPSO (zom-pok-uh-lip-soh) tells the heartwarming story of Darren and Dale (brothers, best friends, and possibly cousins), convinced that the end of the Mayan calendar is about to bring on the "Zompocalypse."

The duo retreat to their family's remote farmhouse to await the coming storm. As sh*t begins to get increasingly real, the brothers prepare themselves to become the last known survivors of a brave, new, and possibly undead world.

Check out a video we put together from bits of improv by our principal actors:

Chris Meister (Dale), Mike Manship (Darren) and I (Eric Anderson...not a character name, I'm the director) have fleshed out scenes and structure and we'll let the cameras roll and see what happens (magic is the goal).

I'll also be "Blair Witch-ing" things by introducing unexpected situations, objects and other actors for our leads to deal with.

And of course, at the end of filming our entire cast and crew will disappear, leaving only our footage behind.

Filming is currently scheduled for spring/summer 2012 in Kansas and Illinois.

Visit the Corn Bred Films and ZOMPOCALYPSO Facebook pages for more.

NOTE: A contribution of $5 or more gets you a download of the finished film.  So basically, you're both helping to make and purchasing a finished feature film for $5.  Not too shabby.

ANOTHER NOTE: We're raising $10,000 on Kickstarter to purchase equipment and commence principal photography in Spring 2012.

If you want to be involved in supporting post-production and marketing of the film (and make money back for every license purchase you make) please visit: http://www.sokap.com/project/view/pid/6

Thanks in advance for your support!
