Frequently Asked Questions
For now, no. But we are still talking with publishers, so it's still a possibility. If we sign a deal during the campaign, we will let you know.
There will be a different campaign on Spieleschmiede at a later date to try and fund a German full translation and production of the game. No matter what happens with that compaign, we will provide a PDF translation of the rulebook and scenario booklet in German, just like we'll do in Spanish, Italian and Polish.Last updated:
Horde cards: 74x74
Tower cards: 60x60
Reference cards: 80x120
Sleeved cards will fit in the Tower cards tray! However it won't be possible to sleeve the Horde cards as they need to fit perfectly in the Horde Trays, and would make the whole setup with polyominoes unstable.Last updated:
So far, no. Only the King Deluxe upgrade components will. We are still exploring solutions to help with storing all the content from this campaign, but we won't commit to anything before the end of the campaign. IF we find one, we will make an update to announce it.Last updated:
With the King Pledge, you'll get the exact same box as the Knight Pledge, PLUS an "upgrade pack" containing:
- 12 Plastic Soldiers
- 4 custom Hero Trays and their cover
- 1 custom Tower tray and its cover
- 12 plastic crystals
- 18 wooden hearts
- 1 exclusive poster 70x50cm
That means that for example you will get both the Wooden version of the Soldiers from the Knight Pledge box AND the Minis version from the Deluxe upgrade. You will get both the Tokens version of the Crystals and Hearts from the Knight Pledge box AND the plastic and wooden upgrades from the Deluxe upgrade.Last updated:

Absolutely. What you see in review videos is a very early prototype version. We didn't have much time to iterate on them before it was time to ship the copies to reviewers, so we settled with something that was kind of good enough at this stage. But we are definitely not happy with the current result.
We plan to:
- add a white layer, which will help a lot bringing the colors forward
- change the colors to another palette
- use different symbols on top of colors to make sure color-blind people have absolutely 0 issue with them no matter whatLast updated:
Yes, and that's not a mistake. At 2 players, each player controls 5 building sites. With the transparent Tower markers, we wanted to give you the choice of which color you could use at that player count. Therefore 5 building sites x 4 colors = 20.
With the 3D Towers add-on though, due to the manufacturing price and storage needs, we can't afford to do that. Therefore we have locked the colors to be used for each player count, and we only need 18 of them total.
The grey one has a special purpose, to be revealed later!Last updated:
You can't do that on Kickstarter, which is why we will have a Pledge Manager. This is where you will give us your address, and tell us what items you want! For now, you may choose to pledge just the amount of the pledge you want, or you may already calculate the total price pledge + add-on and pledge that amount. It's up to you! Keep in mind that the more people pledge now, the more Stretch Goals we can unlock :)Last updated:
Yes! You can do so at any moment during the campaign AND during the Pledge Manager, after the campaign is over. If you are not sure what you want exactly, it's better to go for a Knight Pledge, to avoid having to deal with refunds.
The prices will be the same in the Pledge Manager.Last updated:
You can correct your pledge amount at any time during the campaign. If you pledged a few $ less, you'll be able to add them during the Pledge Manager. If you pledged a few $ more, they will go towards the shipping, which we will charge during the Pledge Manager. In any case, it won't be lost!Last updated:
Everything is explained on this page:
Yes, absolutely! Every registered backer in this campaign will have access to our Pledge Manager.Last updated:
We don't recommend it. The prices we've shown on this campaign, while based on very precise calculations with our partners, are just estimations at this point of the campaign. We'll be able to finalize the prices before opening the Pledge Manager, when we'll know 100% what will be in each box, and this is where we will charge you the shipping.Last updated:
That's because these 2 countries are islands, and therefore packages to these countries need to be delivered by boat/plane, which makes it much more expensive than any other country in the EU.Last updated:
Unfortunately, shipping to these 2 States is much more expensive than to any other State, which is why they fall in the "Rest of the World" category.Last updated:
We check the "Community" tab of this campaign. While we usually don't see New Zealand in this top 10, we can see Australia and it's usually enough to have a good estimation as of where we're at with this Shipping Quest.
It's now been unlocked!Last updated:
- up until 60 days after the campaign ends, we will refund you 100% of your pledge + shipping paid, no question asked.
- after 60 days, and up to the moment we give the backers list to our partners for fulfillment (~ at least a week before fulfillment starts in the region assigned to that partner), we will refund you 90% of your pledge + shipping paid, no question asked. The remaining 10% are Kickstarter and Stripe fees we won't be able to get back at this point.Last updated:
