Random Update #17

Hey Everyone,

Can you believe it’s almost 12 months since we launched the AL13? I’m sure you’re wondering what the hell we have been doing all this time. Good question! We’ve been busy working on AL13 Version 2…

And it’s going to be epic! We are testing what we believe will be the final prototype. With your comments and advice we have redesigned and improved the AL13 and all major issues have been addressed.

We have also finished developing an improved screen protection for the AL13 Version 2 project, it’s called mPact Glass and it’s also epic!!! There is so much I want to share about the new project and I will as soon as we have everything confirmed.

Stay tuned!

I loved this case, it's the best I-Phone case I ever bought. While I had very minor single problems the simplicity of installation, along with the quality of materials used far outweighed anything else. Cant wait to get version 2.

The degree of signal loss made this case unusable and I find the lack of acknowledgment disingenuous at best.

I used it for a week and found out it interfered with my signal way too much. I loved the design and really wanted it to work well. But wanting to work will not really make it work.

V1 works fine for me (using it in combination with a Gelaskin), looking forward to V2!

Jesus is the case whats fucking with my signal? goddamit i didnt put two and two together

I agree with the first commenter. The back of the case fitting was the biggest challenge. Signal loss was second.

I will not back your projects again

      V1 has
      1) Looks nice
1)Signal loss is more than you mentioned in your updates
2)Bumper does not fit tight and I have to clean it every week
      3) back frame (because of taking the bumper on and off) made visible scratches on the back of the phone
      4) useless package
      5) unreasonable preorder price. I wonder how you sell them for greater price
      6) design spoils functionality

I am waiting for my "access case" (project here at kickstarter) and than my usage of your case will end FOREVER

Stop using the v2 but not from signal loss. The v1 made small marks behind the frame on the Iphone from dust and other particals got between the frame and the Iphone frame.

First version was unusable, so for your sake I hope v2 is a vast improvement. I won't be buying one.

I had to stop using it, because it interfered with my signal to. I thought that maybe my phone had a problem, but the I changed to the 5S and is the same problem.
