As the daughter of a man who didn't survive, I am ecstatic for this project. This feels like one great step towards starting a more open conversation in our country. Thank you for everything you do.

Getting close to that first stretch goal! This is a truly remarkable project and it's amazing to see it resonate with so many people. I'm honored to be a part of it.

My donation is in memory of Julie Cooper. A beautiful woman who could light up any room and touched so many lives. She took her own life January 27th.

I've been checking daily...thrilled to have checked today and see that this projected is now funded! I backed in honor of my friend Kendra who succeeded in taking her life 17 years ago TODAY. Congrats! So eager to watch this project come to fruition.

We did it! I'm so glad this got funded. Now if we can get to the stretch goal so that this project can potentially be even more special and helpful. =)

I just saw this project today, and I don't know if I've ever seen another project more worthy of my support on this site. I've shared it with all of my social media friends and I'll be sharing with more people over the next few days. Hopefully we can get to the goal. This needs to happen. Thank you Dese'Rae for having the courage to do this.

Despite being a survivor of suicide from both the attempt and loss sides, and having worked through the rough path of self-inflicted wounding.. Being a party to this through Des' early idea up to now, this project has done worlds of good to help me me remember that I'm not alone in this battle. My only hope is that this project gains the ability to reach out to the people that need to see it, and that whatever contribution I can make towards it helps move Des towards that end.
