Health Update

Thank you so much for the support, everyone. As I’ve been slowly getting back to a healthy, functional human being, your messages of support and wellness have really meant a lot to me. My post-surgery recovery is going slow, but steady. Right now I’m able to sit up in a chair for about four hours straight, and I can wear real pants for about three hours at a time. I’m still having a lot of difficulty focusing on tasks for any long stretch of time, and I’ve been told this state could take about six months to fully recover from. There’s a few logistic challenges that I’m working out right now. I’ve been chipping away at the to-do list, and I think that I can get a lot of it fully done in the next two months (yes, this is for all three Kicks, I’m cross-posting this accordingly). But first, I need to get just a little healthier. Please bear with me, and I’ll get this all fixed.

Montalvo and Alan Gerding like this update.

At least you can say that you had an enormous appendix.
Did you keep it? I would have been asking for a jar and some alcohol...oh wait, you were unconscious. :-P
Glad to hear you are healing, even if it's slow. Work as much as you can, matey, and keep that motivation up. Yarrgh!

Don't work too hard in your current condition. Hope you're feeling better soon!

i agree completely with tim, take as long as it takes, get yourself well then worry about getting things done too quickly. just the occasional "i'm still alive" and i'll be happy.
i'd rather know you're healthy than have the game faster.

Rest up and don't rush things.. Just the odd update to keep us in the loop, and you can take as long as you need to recover :-) Radio silence is what makes delays frustrating, not the delays themselves!
