A new album, 2 years in the making, entitled "Trimurti" exhibits influences ranging from baroque classical to organic electronic to spoken word to avant-barbershop-folk to the familiar sounds of the first album, "15 COLORS." The goal was not necessarily diversity for the sake of diversity, but rather a freedom of expression in terms of musical styles. It was composed without the assumption of "we make this kind of music." Instead, it was "we make music." A wide range of instrumentation pervades: harps, bassoons, 808s, cellos, saxophones… but the point is we've been working very diligently on putting together something worth putting together. Logistically speaking, the album consists of over 3 hours of finely tuned material, all culminating in a collection of songs which represent a much broader concept than what is typically found in a conventional release.
Due to the surprisingly diverse nature of the project, further resources are in demand. With over 30 guest musicians and a number of big time engineer-types it certainly isn't your everyday basement recording and although through efficient management we have been able to keep expenses to a bare minimum, inevitably costs arise which exceed the budget of an independent, self-funded group of good-for-nothin' musicians.
We appeal to you, lovers of music and patrons of the arts to be the winged angels who will swoop down and support us in our trials, provided you sincerely believe in what we are trying to accomplish. We are now in the last legs of our endeavor and your support will help to put the final mixing, mastering and auxiliary elements in place.
