After an awful life, John's soul is ready to say goodbye to this cruel world. In that moment, a demon called Ocaso, appears in front of him. The mysterious creature offers John the opportunity of being young again, having the life he's always dreamed of. In exchange of his soul, of course. Will John accept his offer? And, if so, what will be the consequences?

Hi! I'm Maika Hernández, founder of IndieBug, an indie game studio from Madrid, Spain.
I'm a computer engineer and I've been developing software for more than 10 years. I've always loved video games so in 2017 I decided to become an indie game developer. Since then I have been working on this new project called Demons Never Lie. I'm doing almost everything by myself: the design, the character modeling, scripts, scenarios and programming... and enjoying every minute of it :)
IndieBug dream is to create games with immersive worlds and the biggest focus lies in the storytelling and making personal connection to the players.
Demons Never Lie is almost finished and will be out this year thanks to this campaign. Up until now, this has been a solo project. I made everything in the game myself: the design, the character modeling, scripts, scenarios and programming. Even the translation for the demo.
If I hit the funding goal of 5.000€, I will be able to continue the game development, hire translators, buy quality music and 3D models/assets.
I would love to hit some stretch goals, too. I’ll be able to translate Demons Never Lie into additional languages - French, German, Portuguese, Russian... even Chinese, Korean or Japanese. I have even bigger plans beyond that, but I'll reveal those later if you raise that much!
