Weird Tales of Dread is a collection of short horror stories in the style of EC comics. Each issue is packed with three short tales of terror, featuring horrifying monsters, daring heroes, and perilous circumstances. Our third issue is complete and ready to print, but we need your help to do it!
Please be aware, WToD is a horror comic and contains violence, blood, gore, language, and intense situations.
Issue #3 tells tales of life and death; the horrors faced, and the lives lost. The inevitability of death, and the cost of standing up to fate.
Pirate Story follows the final days of Blackbeard the pirate. Cornered in his alcove hideaway, Blackbeard is confronted by his nemesis, Robert Maynard.
Fence Story sees the world through a man, down on his luck, doing what he can to help others. When a stranger refuses his kindness, he is faced with the threat of his life.
Meeting the Hound, Part 2 (written by Thomas Brooks) is the follow up to a young woman's encounter with a dangerous supernatural beast, and what she must do to survive.

Risks and challenges
This is my second Kickstarter, and though it still hasn't been simple, I've seen a similar project through to completion. Getting the goal right, managing costs and expectations is always a test. But with assistance from some expert Kickstarter creators, I feel confident in this campaign.
All the creative work is already done, the comic is made and is just waiting to be put to paper.
I've printed books before, as well as merchandise, and know that I can create the product promised. I've received quotes from printers, and they are ones I've personally used and can vouch for their work.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
