A young woman awakens on a theater stage, surrounded by fog. A single light shines down on her.
Sitting up, she turns around to find a group of beautiful, mysterious, and masked ballerinas who teach her how to dance...but is it all a dream? Is it imagination or is it real?
The theme of the dance is modern ballet, and the song's genre is Avant-Garde/Electronic. We cannot play the song for you until we purchase the license, which is part of the fundraising we are asking for.

I first heard this song about 2 years ago. I instantly fell in love with it. The images I had for it in my mind were very clear from the beginning & I thought to myself, "one day I will make a music video for this."
While abroad in Macedonia, I met the dance choreographer of the Macedonian National Ballet. In the same month, I met a friend of a friend who owns a video production studio here (second largest in Macedonia) and he offered me the chance to use their equipment to film a music video while I am here visiting. Both of them are helping make this project come true, and I am excited to have their support and participation in this video.
It was destiny that this project be filmed here in Macedonia!
The story came to me because my daughter loves ballet, and I want to make something that she can look back at when she is older, as a Macedonian-influenced work of art.
This project means so much to me because everybody involved in this project (except for myself) is Macedonian. I want to support Macedonian artists. My wife, also Macedonian, is an incredibly talented artist, and is drawing the storyboard for the entire project.
My goal with this project is to promote more art and creativity in Macedonia. There are so many talented individuals here and they need a voice and a boost to get their create careers going.
Located above Greece, Macedonia is a small landlocked country with about 2 million inhabitants.

The Dance Choreographer of the Macedonian National Ballet, Olga Pango, will be creating the dance for this music video / short film.
The Directory of Photography, Monika Mulichkovska is an extremely talented individual who has won awards for her work:
The first 2 weeks of February will be spent completing the official storyboard (in progress). We will also work on costume and set design.
During the last 2 weeks of February, the Director will work with the Choreographer to create a dance for video, and the dancers will rehearse while we secure the rights to use the song.
The first 2 weeks of March will be spent on finalizing all pre-production, final rehearsals, and production planning, etc.
We are scheduled to begin shooting in Skopje, Macedonia on the 15th of March, 2018. Shooting will take place over the course of a week.
The project will be edited in April, color corrected and completed in June.

Risks and challenges
Without the fees for the licensing covered, we cannot make the project at all. We must make the budget to cover this.
All of the individuals involved are well known to the producer and director; they are very talented and there is extremely minimal chance for this project not to happen if funded.
The greatest risk is a setback of 1-2 weeks in filming as it is being filmed in a busy theater, when time permits, due to scheduled performances.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
