In previous updates, we included photos from inside the DeltaMaker factory. In this update, we have another photo from our assembly process, photos of example objects we print during our testing process, and a photo from the shipping area in our warehouse.
Below is a photo from the mid-point of our assembly-line. This is the holding area at the end of the mechanical system assembly process. After the DeltaMaker frames are assembled, they are stack up-side down, awaiting the installation of the electronics.
In the next phase of our assembly process, the mechanical systems (above) are transformed into fully functional 3D printers, with the addition of the electronics, extruder, build plate, etc.
Completed DeltaMakers are inspected and tested before being placed into boxes for shipping. We test each printer by printing a set of calibrations objects, and a variety of other interesting models.
Below is a DeltaMaker posing with one of our favorite models to print -- this one is a great endurance test (print time 24 hours).
After each printer passes our testing process, it is prepared for shipping. Below is another batch of completed DeltaMakers in our warehouse, waiting to be shipped.
