Steam Early Access is live!

Thanks so much to everyone for all the work up to this point!   Without our backers, we would not have been able to get to the point where we're ready to showcase the game (so far) to the world.

I'll let the Dealer say if for me!

Early Access is a big deal for us.  For the first time, people are able to buy the game in an online store and get a copy immediately.  Also, Steam is the biggest platform for digital game sales, so it sets the trends in terms of where we go from here.

If you've been playing a Steam build, now is the perfect time to write up a review.  Steam users look to reviews to get an idea of how the experience has been for other players, so if you've enjoyed what you've played to date a review is the perfect way to let people know.  Be honest, though - and if you've had troubles, please let us know so we can sort them out.

Our next goalpost is dealing with the Early Access feedback and continuing to improve builds.  From there, we'll be prepping for final release, and getting everyone's physical rewards out to them.

Thanks for being with us on the road so far - it's been incredible.  Now, tell everyone!

Here is out Steam store for you to check out Hand of Fate!

Oh, and we still have a lot of optimisation, especially for low-spec systems.

Bruno, we definitely need to fix the skipping. Broke that on the latest build ... not sure if we'll ever get the ability to replay old challenges. It's on our list to think about.

I look forward to trying the latest build and will add a review when I get the chance.

How far along are you regarding optimization? This is the first build I can run on Ubuntu, but on Fastest it's still a bit too laggy for combat. Nice new look for the equipment descriptions, inventory and deck-building, though!
