About this project
My name is Dean Peterson and I am 23 year old independent filmmaker from Minneapolis, MN. This summer I am embarking on my most ambitious project to date; I am going to shoot my first feature length film.
The film, entitled Incredibly Small is based on a script that I have been writing for the past year. The story revolves around Anne and Amir, two recent college graduates who have been dating for four years and decide to move into their first apartment together. Anne is a law student and Amir is an escalator attendant, and together they try to battle dead end jobs, nosy neighbors, surprises from their past and uncertainty about their future all the while trying to figure out what it means to be an adult.
The thing about making movies is that it costs money, a lot of money. And being that this is a totally independent project we are left to fend for ourselves. We have scraped together some funds, but we still need a little bit more to be able to shoot our film. That's why we need your help.
Here is how it works: I have set a goal to raise $1,000 by July 1st. I need to meet my goal by that date to receive the funds. That's where you guys come in; donate!
Any amount that you can donate helps. Seriously, we are operating on a shoestring, so believe it or not if you donate even $1 that helps a lot! The money you donate will go towards shooting the film as well as post production costs like editing and color correcting.
Over on the right we have listed the rewards for donating. In addition to all that cool stuff you get the satisfaction of having helped an independent filmmaker get his first film made which is priceless, right?
So please donate what you can. I really appreciate any support you can lend.
