As a token of my appreciation for the amazing Day 3 of this Kickstarter campaign, I made you all a movie. I hope you like it. Thanks again for getting the word out about OneLessDrop.
Day 3 of 30: Video: OneLessDrop - A Two Minute Design Story
Day 2 of 3
Day 1 of 30
Another amazing day. Only two days in and we're already 1/3 of the way to the goal - production launch of OneLessDrop. As soon as the goal nears, I'll start sending the production orders to my vendors in Phoenix. First up is the extrusion die. An extrusion die is like the shapes that came with your Play-Doh Fun Factory, but instead of shaping colored dough it shapes molten aluminum. I hope to to show you a video of that process in action in the next few weeks.
Wow. Thank you to all my Day 1 Backers. You made today a great day.
Back in 2007, when I decided to leave the software design business and start a new career in product design, raising the funds to launch production of a new product was, by far, the low-point of the process.
Thanks to you and Kickstarter, I'm really excited about the next 29 days.
Be sure to ask your friends and family "Do you charge your mobile phone on your night stand? Are you always searching for its power cable on the floor every night before bed? Well have I got something for you!"
Thanks again, and good night. You'll find your power cord under your bedside table.
