Robert Lloyd Parry was born in Southport in 1970, and has worked variously as an art historian, theatre reviewer, actor and guesthouse keeper in a Greek monastery. He co-founded Nunkie Theatre Company in 1996 to produce shows on the London Fringe – among them Alan Bennett’s An Englishman Abroad, Patrick Suskind’s The Double Bass, and David Mamet’s Squirrels.
