Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. When the campaign is over we WILL be using BackerKit. There you will find other products that we couldn't make work as reward levels. Things like the other Gamers movies, and maybe even Mound of Dead Bards minis, if we have any left. We will let you know closer to the end of the campaign some of the things you can expect.Last updated:
If you are new to the Kickstarter experience, then there's going to be some things you need to know process-wise.
Within about two weeks after the campaign ends on June 15th, you will receive a survey. The survey is to tell us more info about you, your shipping address, what you want your name to be listed as, T-shirt size, etc.
BackerKit is a third-party solution that takes place of that survey (you will still get a survey), and serves as a place where you can purchase more items (add-ons), above and beyond your pledge. You pay for these add-ons separately and they are combined with your Kickstarter rewards. BackerKit makes fulfilling these rewards so much easier, and we even get a little discount on shipping. That discount has been factored into the shipping charge you're already paying on Kickstarter.
Shipping costs suck even more these days, particularly for those outside the US. We do what we have to in order to make sure you're not overcharged on shipping. BackerKit has tools that allow us to do that, including giving you credit towards your order if need be.
The last thing BackerKit does is allow us to create an online pre-order store for those who missed out on the Kickstarter campaign. The fees are similar and allows us to raise more money for the project.
All the money raised by this campaign both with Kickstarter and BackerKit go directly to this project, and not any other project.
BackerKit also provides customer support so we don't have to field all the questions. They come to us for answers they don't know how to address. So it's a big help for us.Last updated:
Actually, Kickstarter doesn't charge your card until the campaign ends. The campaign ends at 9pm, Monday, June 15, 2015. So, pledge away!Last updated:
Will the deleted scenes, extended scenes, and other bonus content that will be on the Blu-Ray be available for the Digital Download package?
Yes. Granted to get most of those we have to hit our first stretch goal. Keep in mind however, that most of those extras will be in Standard Definition, particularly with the movie footage. Other features that were shot in HD will get to be HD on this disc however. So that's nice.Last updated:
On the Dual Layer Blu-Ray, are these the same features that were on the "Digitally Re-Dungeon Mastered" version?
Yes and no. This disc will not be branching, so it will not insert deleted or extended scenes into the movie. You can see those on a separate screen. We are able to add a few more things to the Blu-Ray as well that are not on that previous DVD. But the commentaries, the subtitles, blooper reel, Behind the Scenes, all that stuff is going on.
HOWEVER. If we reach a further stretch goal, we're going to start replacing commentary tracks with new ones, as well as other great stuff.Last updated:
When it says "Includes all previous reward levels", are you including the previous limited reward levels?
We may add more reward levels, and this is a problem with the wording. We can't change it either once it went live. We meant includes the ULTIMATE DORKNESS level. However for the RED CARD level we are going to make an exception to include GAME WITH THE GAMERS level. We cannot include THE SHADOW'S DUNGEON GROUP 1 due to Sean's schedule. That was bad wording on our part. If we make more reward levels we will be much clearer.Last updated:
Yes! It will be NTSC however, so make sure you can play that format.Last updated:
Very likely. We usually save that towards the end of the campaign. If we do them, everyone at the $30 level and up would get them.Last updated:
