About this project
Robot Envy: Zenith
45 Days. 60 amazing artists. One book to rule them all! This art book will feature a collection of the finest robot art in the world. If you love robots and sci-fi, this is the coolest book you can ever possibly own. We want to own it too, which is why we are making it.
In 2012, the journey of Robot Envy began with the release of a simple specialty sketchbook by artist davpunk. What originally launched as a Kickstarter project has now grown into an awesome community, connecting robot artists worldwide! Robot Envy is a community of artists, built by artists, for fans to celebrate robot art! Each week for the past 3 years we have curated the best artwork, promoting the individual artists who created them.
This is an impressive 8.5 x 11 (portrait orientation), hardcover, 192 page (final count tbd), full-color art book. The interior pages will beautifully display all of the amazing artwork in vivid detail. It is perfect for your coffee table and will melt your face off! (You might want to keep a mop or something nearby.) The book is also $10 off of the retail price, just for Kickstarter pledgers!
We have collected artists, illustrators, and sculptors in 24 countries from all over the planet into one over-the-top volume! Each artist brings their unique style and personality to light up the pages of Zenith. This volume will feature the most inspiring artists on the planet. Risks and challenges
We are really concerned that people's faces might actually melt off. ;)
There is always a risk of production delays. However, we have created many books and have gained a solid understanding of the production process. If there happens to be a delay, communication and transparency of production to our pledgers is our top priority. In our previous Kickstarter, we ensured that every backer was 110% happy, even if it was on our dime.
We are anticipating a large number of international backers. Our biggest challenge will be managing shipping and fulfillment. We are using Endicia, have a fulfillment team ready, and are confident in our abilities–we will succeed.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
