Celebrate the Queen City with this throwback Hornets shirt.
Moving to a new place can be a tough transition. You leave behind friends and your favorite places for a new city that doesn't have their charm and character. But over time you find good friends and new local spots, different ones, but great ones. And pretty soon you realize that you love a place and can't imagine leaving it.
That was my experience moving to Charlotte, a city of transplants. I've grown to love this place, and I want to celebrate it with other people who love it, too. That's why I've started a shirt company called Queen City Originals. Through it, I'm creating limited runs of t-shirts that celebrate what makes Charlotte a great place to live.
This Kickstarter is for the second t-shirt I'm printing for QCO, a shirt that stars the Hornets. The Hornets might have left this city ten years ago, but they never left the hearts of this city's sports fans. With their new host city considering a name change, Charlotteans have begun to hope that maybe, just maybe, the Hornets will return home.
This shirt will be printed using a deep purple waterbased ink on an Everest colored American Apparel BB401 shirt. It'll be soft, with a no-ink feel, perfect for a sports bar and a live show.
This Kickstarter campaign will fund this shirt, and it will allow me to print additional runs of Queen City Originals' shirts faster and with more regularity than I'd be able to otherwise. If you're a current or former Charlotte local and want to see great shirts celebrating this place, I'd love to have your support. Thanks!
Want fantastic, custom designed tee shirts delivered to your door? Great, because I want to design and handle the printing for you. But to make sure this is a good experience for both of us, please make sure you read these restrictions carefully.
Are you in the greater Charlotte area? If you are, you get shirts dropped off at your door. If you’re not, there will be some significant (additional) shipping costs involved.

I’m not interested in copying other people’s work. Please don’t bring me someone else’s art and/or concept and ask me to recreate it.
I reserve the right to decline to design or print your idea for any reason. Content that is sexist, racist, or hateful won’t be tolerated. If you’re worried your idea might fall under those categories, it probably does.
Did I scare you off? I hope not. Lets make something awesome together.
