Post-hurricane update

Posted by David Anderson (Creator)

Hi documentary backers and all other supporters of Pah Tempe!

Many in the northeast are still reeling from this week's disaster, and we hope your loved ones are safe and sound.

Our filmmaker for this project, Loren Feldman, a resident of Long Island, was one of those stuck in the storm and had a harrowing few days helping to care for family, friends and property.

Prior to the storm, we had our next backer update scheduled for today, and despite still being in the throes of uncertainty with the rest of the region as it begins to recover, Loren made it out of the city, and was dedicated enough to fire off an update video for all of you as planned, embedded below. Take a look!

A summary:

  • principal photography is complete (quite a few trips to southern Utah in October)
  • the editing process has begun, and will continue through November
  • expected delivery has not changed: ASAP in December

A HUGE THANK YOU, once again, to everyone who helped make it possible to create the first piece of major long-form visual media bringing the whole historical story of this very special place to the world!

If you want to find out more about the hot springs, or would like to see if there are any other ways you can help preserve Pah Tempe, you can always check out PahTempe.org, or don't hesitate to call and talk to Ken or Cordula any time @ (435) 635-2879.

cheers,

David Anderson

Thank you! You and David are the men to do it! I can feel your sincerity and intensity! That's what Pah Tempe really needs, I think...glad you made it through the storm! From Hurricane to hurricane and back! :-)
