This wasn't an easy decision - But I decided this was best for everybody for a few reasons. The good news is that we're leaving room for expansions in the box we send, and we'll be making lots of interesting expansions that you can buy later if you like the game enough.
The first reason is this is our first Kickstarter game, and I want the process to be as absolutely smooth as possible for all our backers. By having only one version of the game that means bulk savings allow us to give away the game for cheaper, and with free shipping. The more backers we get, the more cards everyone gets. Also, less complications of dealing with different shipping sizes, weights, and keeping track of who bought which version. Am I capable of doing that? Of course. But does that open up a lot more room for errors or unforeseen complications? Also Yes. Along those lines, I've put the expected reward date at a very conservative December for the physical game in case we have issues in the manufacturing process, but I hope to surprise everyone by getting it in your hands sooner. Plus, I like the idea of everybody getting the exact same game, so all of us dumpster lovers can unlock stretch goals together.
