Spoiler: Some more drawings ...
Hello Space Creatures!
I hope you are doing very well!
Exciting things are happening here. Most of you might know already that we started a project a bit - I would say a lot - different from the ones before. Nai, Sofi, Desi and the rest of the team are thrilling about it. [Scroll down to the end of the update to see more].
I'd like to share with you a few drawing that I am going to add to The Ink Harvest. For those who wanted the drawings as a surprise ... don't look below because an
S P O I L E R is coming ;)
I didn't want to add characters from the The Force Awakens but, at the end, I give in to desire of those who asked for it - including my daughter - and here it goes a little serie:
What do you think about it?
Liked the selection?
Regarding timing issues, I must admit that I am a bit on delay. My most sincere apologies. I thought I could do it quicker, because I had already done most of the illustrations but, to be true, I (re)drawn a few of them, and also overestimated my power. We are planning to send it to the printer within this month - which means I should hurry up -, and I'll keep you up to date about it!
And finally, and regarding the new project, let me contextualize a bit. It's Friday and those who know me already know that Friday is the days when I explain stories. Today the story is about iClassics.
Once upon a time... there was a guy who really liked Poe. He started illustrating Annabel Lee, The Raven and decided along with Francesc Tovar - programmer at the company at that time - to try to make an interactive book based on it. The first version of this book was released in 2012 if I remember well. I had an amazing response among readers at a time when it was very difficult to find Interactive Books on the AppStore.
You can see the project here or keep on reading ...
I always had the feeling that this project had the potential to be successful but we were never able to consistently work on it for the lack of money. Last year we managed to create an amazing team, and early this year we reached the excellence on the product with the iLovecraft app.
At the moment we have a great idea, amazing talent, magic technology and a lot of experience – the most difficult part – and now we lack the TIME - which means money – to put all the learning together to keep on creating. This is where YOU play a role, and this is the moment when we decided to present iClassics - Reimagining Poe, Wilde, Lovecraft and more on Kickstarter, to make it bigger and better, together!
See the project and judge for yourself if you would like to help make iClassics a reality.
Thanks for reading these words and have a great weekend :)
May the Ink be with you!
