Sun Spots GM Kit is Complete!

Posted by Dave Sokolowski (Creator)

Today is a good day!

I just finished setting up the GM Kit on DTRPG and then sending every backer at $10 and greater a digital copy of it. You should have an email notification in your mailbox; if not, check your DTRPG account, as it will be there too.

With that, most backers have received all their rewards. I hope you've been satisfied with this project, as it's been a great experience for me in many ways. But I'm not quite done, and have a few more thoughts to share.

If you like Sun Spots (and the GM Kit), we would love to get a review from you. Here are a couple of links to help find the appropriate pages. Your support is welcome as always...

Final Deliverable

With the delivery of the GM Kit, the final deliverable is the pre-generated PCs for the $100 backers. I'm actually well into working on these and will start sending out drafts for reviews in the next week. Look for those soon!

Mailing List

Many of you opted in to join my Weird 8 mailing list, which I am to kick off shortly. It will just be an email mailing list where I can communicate my writing projects. If you would like to join it, just drop me a line and I'll add you.

For now, you can still reach me on my Facebook page too, but with the new algorithms who knows how that will go in the long run. But for now you can find me here:

Next Steps

What's next? Well, first I finish up the rest of Sun Spots. Then I take a week off.

THEN I get back to work on The Advocacy. What is The Advocacy? In short, The Advocacy is a contemporary Call of Cthulhu investigative group that tackles occult and Mythos missions in Washington DC. I am working with Stygian Fox to publish The Advocacy as part of their Safe House Book series (like Hudson & Brand). If you want to join the conversation, check out The Advocacy page on Facebook, which is just starting up.

After that, who knows what the future holds? Lots of weird madness, that's for sure!

Almost done....

@James and everyone - yes, the PDFs will only open in Adobe Reader and not in your browser. These character sheets are straight from the Chaosium website, where you can see the warning about the error. Sorry that I didn't make this clearer up front...

Anyone else unable to view the NPCs? They're all ~2.5 MB PDF documents but according to macOS Preview they're all 1 pagers that say the following:

      Please wait...
