UPDATE 2/5/13 - GOAL! THANK YOU! In these final 2 days, lets stretch this goal another $1k to help cover artwork & other media. You have blessed us tremendously by letting us make a record! - DHB
About a year ago we started working on this project. It's our desire to help people come alive to the Book of Revelation. Through the creation of a musical commentary we tell the story, speak the imagery, and sing the melodies found in this mysterious book. With no agenda in mind, we added a harmonic response to what we found in the text, as if the Scripture was the melody and we wrote a third above it and a fifth below it.
Last fall we presented this experience at multiple churches, combining music and art (performing 18 songs and completing two live paintings). We received excellent feedback, and from that chose 12 songs to capture for this record. The other 6 will be recorded as an Addendum, and released digitally along side the record.
We need you to make this record become reality.
As independent musicians, we have to completely rely on ourselves to make anything happen...and we like it that way. We sought out our own mentors for this project, and selected our own producers and artistic directors to make this record the best we can. We cannot, however, make this on our own.
Making a record costs thousands of dollars, and the lowest amount we can make this for is $6k. We've already recorded the core here in Minneapolis, and plan to record the rest in Nashville with a fabulous producer (we'll tell you more on him later).
Please consider backing this project, and getting some great rewards. Thank you so much for partnering with us to make this happen!

Risks and challenges
Kickstarter is an all-or-nothing campaign. We need to raise the full $6k in 30 days, or we will get none of what's pledged. We're going all-in, and asking you to help make this happen! We would never ask you to do something we're not willing to do ourselves, and we are digging deep to make this record become something amazing.
If we can push above our goal we'll have more funds to make the record, packaging, and final product even more amazing. We'll also be able to put this record in strategic places to make sure it's easily found. Spread the word and let's do this together!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
Kickstarter does not charge you unless the funding is successful at the end of the campaign. You won't be charged anything until February 7th @ 6pm. If we do not reach our goal, no one is charged anything.
We'd love you to, but we really need all funds raised to go through Kickstarter. Thank you so much for wanting to help us!

The record will have 12 songs. We have 6 more that we're going to record and release separately as an Addendum to the album (basically, additional content that won't be on the actual record). They will be 2 separate albums...one the LP and one the EP. Hope that helps clarify!
