PENNY DREADFUL - 1841 Murder Case

'Their Darkest Materials' Book - Signed

Interest in this book has been so high that I suspect there will be later editions! By supporting us here, you're helping us stay in control of the creative process. This book has been a few years in the making and an utter labour of love. I didn't want to hand it over to a publisher, and risk a butchering. So this is for my loyal readers from 'The Knitter' and elsewhere who already 'get' this, and share this love for textile history. The book contains many previously unpublished elsewhere snippets, and represents much original research deep in various archives. I'm passionate about dragging this into the light, where it can be enjoyed and shared and the names and stories of 'lost' knitters, makers and wearers - ordinary people - have been tracked down and are celebrated.
