A dark storm is coming.
You walk through the corridors, casually discussing the daily gossip with a colleague. You stop, mid-sentence. A strange, eerie feeling washes over you. Something is coming, and it's not alone.
Within seconds, your surroundings become unfamiliar. Screams coming from every direction are suddenly silenced with a loud crack. Dark shadows fill the hall, something is approaching. There is no safe place to hide.
Lives are lost.
Hollow casings and freshly-spilled blood lay in thick layers on the floor. Each muzzle flash, each explosion, each terrifying moment that passes means less of a chance for escape, for survival.
And its just the beginning.
A dark storm is coming.
How the Money will be used and why Kickstarter?
We knew from the start that developing a game is a very tedious and long process and granted with that comes the need for better software. From licensing costs from both the UDK and 3D Modeling software every penny that is donated to our project is 100% used to fund obtaining the latest software or goes in terms of paying licensing for Unreal Engine 3.
As known we do have a considerable amount of promotional and assets that are shown throughout the Development Community we require the support of interested individuals to support our development Studio as we contract out some of the best Animators, Character Artists, Modelers and Sound Engineers all under one founding to create this game. As the funds would also serve as a reserve fund for potential expansions and features such as the planned Coop and Campaign Multiplayer features in the near future.
Risks and challenges
Our Game is prone to obvious delays due to glitches and bugs in general as we develop the game on Unreal 3 Engine on UDK. We have an international team dedicated to this project that communicates via skype, and challenges that can (and have) come up for our are animation hiccups, glitches, and other general issues that can come up when developing and testing a video game. These challenges take time to fix, and can delay the game's release anywhere from a few days to a week, depending on the severity of the issues.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
The Short answer is no on release but we want to bring the game to both the Mac and PS3 a few months after release in a port.
It means similar to the "Walking Dead" the game would be bought for one flat price and receive updates to add the next Episode or Chapter on a development cycle of 2-3 months each.
We are not going to put the game on review till the game is fully polished and every section is where it needs to be quality and performance wise.
