Delvers Lost in the Dungeons of Doom! 2!!
FUNDED IN 2 DAYS!!
I'm back with another adventuring party ready for your next dungeon crawl! I have also sculpted a massive Troll, as a tribute to Ken St. Andre (creator of Tunnels & Trolls). These are heroic scale fantasy miniatures, sculpted by hand and cast in metal, for you to enjoy in your roleplaying and tabletop games. The funds from this Kickstarter campaign will pay for the mould making and casting of the new miniatures.
Monster: No miniatures. No Stretch Goals.
Rogue: Choose one miniature... or more by multiplying your pledge amount.
Warriors & Wizards: The 7 Warriors & Wizards miniatures. Plus all unlocked Stretch Goals!
Troll God: The Troll God. Plus all unlocked Stretch Goals.
Game Master: The 7 Warriors & Wizards miniatures. Plus The Troll God. Plus all unlocked Stretch Goals.
Star Hat Deluxe: The 7 Warriors & Wizards miniatures. Plus The Troll God. Plus the Original 17 Delvers Lost in the Dungeons of Doom! (First Kickstarter) miniatures. Plus all unlocked Stretch Goals.
Painting Pixie: The 7 Warriors & Wizards miniatures. Plus The Troll God. Plus all unlocked Stretch Goals. Painted to a very high standard.
Epic Hero: Your own favourite RPG character sculpted! Plus The 7 Warriors & Wizards miniatures. Plus The Troll God! Plus all unlocked Stretch Goals!
Warriors & Wizards
There are some fantastic miniatures in this party, including Tenkar Calishun the proprieter of Tenkar's Tavern, Vok Wightkicker (with pet Toad), Saetog the Sorcerer, Ailgavart the Ensorceller, Brynhildr the Shield Maiden, Chomsky the Wizard and Kroag! the Barbarian.
Plus you also receive any unlocked Stretch Goals (like Buffalorick, Star Princess and the Epic Hero Oblikar Nothril).
St. Andre Troll
This is not just any old troll. After deciding to sculpt a troll for my friend Mark, an avid Tunnels and Trolls gamer, I asked his friend Ken St. Andre (The Troll God) for some advice. The result? The St. Andre Troll! He's a fitting tribute to Ken and will make a great gift for Mark (and perhaps quite a few other troll fans out there).
Complete with dice bag and rulebook, St. Andre also wields the mighty Troll Hammer. Resplendent in fedora hat and studded belt (with T&T buckle), I used enough putty on this tribute to sculpt 7 standard miniatures. How big is he? 77mm from hammer to toe!
For those backers lurking around the dungeon, thank you for your support. I appreciate every gold coin towards the funding goal. That being said, the pledge prices are exclusive to this Kickstarter. Please contact me as soon as possible after funding if you want to level up or change your pledge.
I offer this pledge for all those solo adventurers who just want one lovable rogue. Pick your favourite miniature from the Warriors & Wizards group or any of the Stretch Goals BUT NOT the St. Andre Troll.
Perhaps you would like your miniatures to arrive already painted? Pick this pledge! You receive all miniatures unlocked during the campaign, painted to a very high standard. Only available to one backer, as I am still recovering from the last Kickstarter!
Think you're brave enough to enter the underworld? I will sculpt your very own character as part of this campaign. This pledge gives you a custom miniature, sculpted to resemble your own player character. You also receive all miniatures unlocked during the campaign. This pledge level was called Legendary Hero in the previous campaign and proved very popular. Due to time constraints, I have limited this to one backer for Delvers Lost in the Dungeons of Doom! 2!!
Sculpting requires communication between the backer (you) and sculptor (me) to create your Epic Hero miniature.
Stretch Goal: The new Epic Hero, Oblikar Nothril, is available for Rogue pledge backers as an Add On. Backers above Rogue will get this miniature free!
You can add any miniature onto your existing pledge for the same cost as the Rogue Pledge ($11 NZD), except of course for the Troll God (as he is rather special). You can also choose miniatures from the previous Kickstarter (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/darcyperry/star-hat-miniatures-heroic-scale-metal-figurines-f) but numbers of these are limited. Please message me with any such requests, so I can make sure you receive what you need.
Star Hat Deluxe
Due to their popularity I have arranged for more miniatures to be cast from the original Delvers Lost in the Dungeons of Doom! You receive all 17 miniatures from the previous the previous Kickstarter (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/darcyperry/star-hat-miniatures-heroic-scale-metal-figurines-f) AND this Kickstarter, including Stretch Goal miniatures AND The Troll.
Please note, even though he appears in the first Kickstarter banner, that you only get one Saetog miniature.
5k Stretch Goal: Unlocked! The first Stretch Goal is Buffalorick the Wizard! Unlocked at 5k and is a free gift for all backers above Rogue pledge level or as an Add On for Rogue pledge backers. The miniature is a tribute to Rick Loomis of Flying Buffalo and includes his pet cat Angelica!
6k Stretch Goal: Unlocked! Trouble At Tenkar's is a Sword's & Wizardry Module featuring characters from this Delvers Lost in the Dungeons of Doom! 2!! (and perhaps the odd cameo from the original DLitDoD!), with a real old school module feel and hours of entertainment for your gaming group. Available as a free pdf for backers above Wandering Monster, or in print as an Add On.
7k Stretch Goal: Star Princess miniature, as a free gift for all backers above Rogue pledge level or as an Add On for Rogue pledge backers.
8k Stretch Goal: Tunnels of The Troll God is a Tunnels & Trolls Solo Adventure featuring characters from this Delvers Lost in the Dungeons of Doom! 2!! (and perhaps the odd cameo from the original DLitDoD!). Available as a free pdf for backers above Wandering Monster, or in print as an Add On.
9K Stretch Goal: Studious Mage miniature, a tribute to Liz Danforth, as a free gift for all backers above Rogue pledge level or as an Add On for Rogue pledge backers.
Liz Danforth will be known to many of you as an illustrator of Tunnels & Trolls and a plethora of other fantasy and sci-fi role playing games and novels. The above artwork is of a beloved character and also the inspiration for her current 'Mages & Sages' Patreon project. You can support her paintings there!
10K Stretch Goal: Toll Quicksilver, as a free gift for all backers above Rogue pledge level or as an Add On for Rogue pledge backers.
These highly detailed miniatures are sculpted with an integrated (20mm) base. They can stand alone or you can glue them to a standard plastic 25mm slotta base or 30mm round-lipped base, to suit your gaming requirements. The Troll is on an integrated 35mm base.
'Heroic scale' means that certain features, most notably heads and weapons, are not scale with the body. This helps them stand out on the gaming table where a true to scale miniature would have a pin-sized head and stick sword by comparison. The miniatures in this Kickstarter stand a head taller than most of my old Grenadier (25mm) and Citadel (28mm) miniatures but are similar in size to the Reaper (30mm to 35mm) miniatures that are popular in fantasy gaming today. Having said that, the Troll God is massive!
This is not an Official Tunnels & Trolls product. However, just to be clear: "T&T is a trademark of Flying Buffalo Inc" and "T&T was created by Ken St Andre". Thanks Ken and Rick!

Risks and challenges
The sculpts miniatures are already sculpted and are now awaiting production. Ian and Allan Farley of Regal Enterprises (Greytown, New Zealand) are handling mould production and spin casting. I employed their services on the previous Kickstarter and the excellent result speaks for itself. Any issues were dealt with quickly in a professional manner with clear communication.
I'm also very happy with the services of NZ Post and Express Couriers Limited. For some of you, New Zealand may be a small country at the far ends of the earth (I live a stone's throw from Hobbiton). However, our creative industries and postal service are excellent.
I'm not expecting any problems with this Kickstarter campaign but if there are, I'll deal with them and keep you informed along the way. I estimate shipping out the miniatures within 3 months of funding this Kickstarter campaign.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
