We made it to 5K... help us get to 8K!
Woohoo! We did it! Thanks to our awesome backers we hit our 5K goal in less than one week. We are so thrilled by the outpouring of support from friends, family and fans.
So why should you keep giving? With an extra 3K we can cover the cost of Kickstarter's commission and payment processing fees, submit to double the number of festivals (which means more viewers around the world for our film), create double the prints & ads to promote our film at those festivals, rent a theater to do a premiere screening for cast, crew & supporters, hire additional musicians for our score, and finally, hire a graphic designer to help us create an amazing poster and promo materials for the film.
Check out the breakdown below, share the campaign with your friends and family, and join us in bringing this film to life!
The Foster Portfolio is an offbeat, 1950's tale about a rookie investment counselor who discovers that his penniless client is hiding a million-dollar inheritance in order to conceal a strange, double life.
Guess What? The hard part is over.
The film has already been shot - but we need your help to take it to the finish line!
We successfully raised 30K for principal photography and shot the film in December of last year. Over the course of a 7-day shoot, our amazing crew used costumes, props and lighting to transform locations and create a stunning, period appropriate world (which is not easy to do on a budget!). Since then, we have been working on the editing process and assembling a post-production team. We are really excited about how it's all coming together, and can't wait to share this film with the world!

Although the film has been shot, we still have a lot to do to get it finished and screened in front of audiences. This includes color correction, sound design and mixing, composing and recording an original score, visual effects, prints and advertising, and festival submission fees.
With your help, we can make The Foster Portfolio a reality and get it out into the world. Help us complete the film!
