Dungeons on Demand is a 5-star rated series of adventure modules. Each features a "dungeon" - an adventure site you can drop into your 5th edition campaign of the world's greatest roleplaying game!
Each adventure is designed for a party of 4 to 5 players of a specified level. Each module is complete with a site back story, hand drawn maps, traps, puzzles, and reference information to monsters and treasure!
These adventure modules are written, illustrated, play-tested and designed by Dan Coleman. They are edited by the incredibly talented Rico Gilbert.
This Kickstarter campaign seeks to fund at least 4 brand new Dungeons on Demand modules. If we reach the stretch goal, a 5th bonus adventure will also be created, and every backer at the CAMPAIGN level or higher will receive this bonus adventure for free. These new modules will comprise Volume Four of the series.
Each Dungeons on Demand module contains the following:
- A dungeon back story to explain what's going on. You have complete control over what's going on and why in each adventure, but this explanation is used to tie everything together. It also adds some flavor to each encounter, and readies you for questions and actions from your players you may not have anticipated.
- Adventure hooks and quests to get the PCs to the adventure site. How did the players find themselves here? Are they looking for someone or something? Each dungeon presents three great reasons to bring the PCs there outside of one you might use for your own campaign.
- Hand-drawn maps of the entire dungeon for the Game Master. Additionally, each distinct area has its own map as well, labeled with details pertinent to the encounter. Each map uses handy icons to reference what's going on in the area - hostile creatures, hidden traps, treasure, NPCs, you name it!
- Individual maps for each area without labels or icons you can present to the players. This gives the players a visual of the encounter area. They're also useful when playing the game online!
- Full breakdowns of each encounter. Complete with references to monsters and magic items, detailed descriptions of traps and puzzles, monster strategies, what developments come from combat, and little odds and ends to brighten the role-playing experience.
- A wrap up guide for you to go over after completing the adventure. Are any monsters or bad guys still alive? What's their deal? Are all the quests or adventure hooks finished? What experience points and rewards are left to be given out?
- An appendix for unique monsters, NPCs, and items. Each adventure has a unique foe or trinket to give your experience something new and different.
Each module contains a dungeon. "Dungeon" is a catchall description of the module's adventure site - be it a literal dungeon, carved from the cold heart of a mountain, a town square overrun with marauding goblins, a wizard's study hidden away in the cove, a shrine at the depths of the ocean, the ruins of a citadel that collapsed ages ago, a forest enchanted with an evil spirit, or any other fantastic location!
At the end of each module, each player should have accumulated enough experience points to gain a level! The dungeons are presented in full color, PDF format - you can easily print them for reference later or open them on your tablet or smart phone during play. A print-friendly version is also provided with each module, as well as any maps, handouts, or additional references required to complete the adventure.

For a 7th-level Party!
The brother-kings Maeron and Alleron Hart rule the neighboring kingdoms of Yuredale and Norhaven, respectively. Their kingdoms have only known peace during their reign, which is why it’s peculiar they now teeter on the brink of war! Recently, the normally placid kings have grown unreasonable, spiteful, and filled with malice. Retainers have fled the kings’ service for fear of their safety, as citizens fretfully ponder the causes (and consequences) of the kings’ burgeoning malevolence.
To make matters worse, lizardfolk have been raiding the boundaries of each kingdom, coming from Mistmire Swamp – the vast wetland that defines the border between Yuredale and Norhaven. The lizardfolk have never raided these lands before, and each king blames the other for the attacks! Something wicked is driving the lizardfolk and brother-kings to behave so strangely, and it’s up to the PCs to make things right!

For an 11th-level Party!
It's the storm no one will be able to forget... that is, of course, if there's anyone left around to remember it. Days after fighting off an incursion by a legion of hobgoblins, a great storm fell upon the kingdom. Rain pours relentlessly, thunder pounds across the air, and lightning ravages the landscape. Days have passed and the storm shows no sign of letting up!
Any relief felt from defeating the hobgoblin invaders has been scoured away; the thunderstorm grows larger, more violent, and more dangerous with each day. There are not many silver linings to be found, although there is a group of capable heroes in town looking for an adventure. Only the PCs are strong enough to investigate the storm's origin and bring an end to it to save the kingdom. But if they don't act soon, there may not be anything left of the kingdom to save!

For a 15th-level Party!
It’s a night of celebration! The eccentric and flamboyant Lord Warren Halethorpe has invited the party members, among other honored guests, to delight in an evening of music, food, wine, and merriment. The lord has made a habit of throwing grandiose parties, and this night’s affair promises to be his finest yet: a masquerade gala for only the most esteemed citizens in the land! Masks, of course, will be provided to those who cannot bring their own.
But it isn’t all masks and mirth taking stage at the masquerade; the gala serves as a front for long-waited revenge. The party must discover the evil creature out for blood against the attendees, and stop it in the lord’s castle before it spreads its reach across the land!

For a 19th-level Party!
When the forces of chaos threaten to unleash a primordial titan upon the world, the party must scramble to undo their awful work. This creature has been prophesied to rise from the Great Well of New Moon’s Rise, a nature temple which overlooks the ocean. However, the problem isn’t finding where to stop the forces of chaos, but when. The chaos infesting the temple has caused time itself to become quite unstable; now past, present, and future collide as part of chaos’ plan!
Fortunately, if anyone can stop the titan from emerging from the temple, it’s the party. They’ve proven they can overcome the odds, time and time again throughout their illustrious careers. New Moon’s Rise may be their biggest challenge yet, but there awaits familiar allies who really push the meaning of "self-dependence."

Intrepid explorer Reslin Kine garnered a modest reputation and fortune for himself throughout his years adventuring. When he learned he'd die of an incurable illness before his first child would be born, Reslin hired the best workers and wizards he could find to create a vault to protect his son's inheritance. Reslin kept a journal of his efforts, logging the information necessary for his heir to find the vault and claim its treasures.
Whatever came of Reslin Kine, his family, or his treasure is now the stuff of stories. Through whatever circumstance, the party has managed to get their hands on a few tattered pages of Reslin’s journal. The cryptic entries noted there contain clues to finding his vault, and the treasure which awaits inside!

The first thing you should do is pledge! For as little as $5 you can get the best module ready for your gaming group. Once you have your copy, it's recommended you read over the packet and familiarize yourself with the layout and encounters, as well as figure out anyway you'd like to customize the dungeon to your campaign. From there out the rest is all in GM Maaaaagic. Drop the dungeon in the current locale, switch around NPCs, put in your own magic items and plot items to be found!

Risks and challenges
This is my fourth time funding Dungeons on Demand through Kickstarter. In every previous campaign, I've been able to begin delivering the core rewards the day after the campaign closes. My backers will attest to my responsiveness - I can answer a question or address a concern usually within hours of being asked (if not much, much sooner).
Each module has already been created, edited, and produced into a PDF bundled with player safe maps. There are no physical shipments or possible production delays to worry about. The rewards are delivered via download links sent from DriveThruRPG. Once you pick out which adventure you want to run, all you have to do is give it a good read before you start!
