Alive Contemporary Dance Company is raising funds to be able to travel to perform at Adelaide Fringe 2020 and engage with a wider international audience. The company, directed by Rejane Garcia and Grace Keeble began in 2012 and has successfully performed in venues in London and St Petersburg. We are made up of a culturally diverse group of dancers, but what unites us is our passion to collaborate and make honest and meaningful work. What makes us unique is the fact that many of us have day jobs ranging from scientists to maths teachers to accountants, as well as professional dancers. However, our commitment and dedication to making dance alive within us by spreading our energy and ethos to a wider community is our priority. We strongly believe that if you have a passion then you should follow it, no matter your age or ability. The company is currently in rehearsals creating brand new work for our annual December show, which we hope to take to Fringe Adelaide 2020. Our expenses such as accommodation and food will be covered by ourselves, the flights and a few other expenses stated below are what we are asking for support. Having you backing our project will enable us to cross the world Down Under with our art and message "DanceAlive inspiring lives"!
Svetlana Malinina, Grace Keeble, Yasmin Bashir, Shahid Khan, Liza Malong, Josh Bradshaw, Dina Subkhankulova, Marzena Flaga, Maria Ugrozova, Lydia Wozniak, Emily Curtis-Harper and Elisabetta Vittelo.

Risks and challenges
We have always been able to cover our own shows through our monthly membership and tickets sales. However, taking this opportunity to take our show to Adelaide is way above our usual costs. We may not be able to raise enough funds to cover the remainder of our total budget. The distance and flight costs can be challenging.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
