Agnimu Rehpot's Scribes & Scribbles welcomes you to become the catalyst in the birth of the world of Isa, a universe filled with the curiously astounding wander of phenomenal imagination.
The last of his scholarly order, Isa's greatest globetrotter Agnimu Rehpot has spent lifetimes exploring the near and far, discovering fantastical places filled with wonderful people, ingenious economies, and exotic ecosystems. All of this has been documented in meticulous detail in his collection of notes, sketches, scribes and scribbles.
With your support, Agnimu can publish these preliminary findings and solidify his push to create the definitive travel compendiums to the world of Isa.
Yes. Agnima Rehpot's Scribes & Scribbles will be a 36 page hardcover compiled from a pool of over 300 original drawings, complimented with full color illustrations and preliminary notations. The book will focus on themes that have been in development since 2016 that will make up the the first three installments of the travel guides planned for late 2019.
Outside of some stickers and art prints, Scribes and Scribbles will be the first major product offering for this world, and will be a promotional asset to help build momentum for the greater goal of a serial publication, RPG supplements, and 3D renderings.
The Kickstarter funding model offers a unique opportunity for supporters to quite literally buy in and become part of the world. With "collaboration" rewards, contributors can name, become, and create the world around Agnimu. Supporters will have there contribution enshrined as actual content, embodying the creative spirit behind the entire endeavor.
Risks and challenges
The Right Stuff - Mike Maydak, creator of Agnimu Rehpot, has over a decade of experience as a professional artist. With publishing know how, logistically networking, and buckets of humility, he will make sure this project kicks ass!!
Money - Initial estimates for printing put cost between 3K to 4K, depending on variants and materials. By doubling that cost to cover production and distribution time, a minimum funding goal of 6K was determined, with any additional funds used as fuel for the next phase of the project.
Content - Nearly all content is finished, except for some full color renderings and a handful of key drawings that will bring it all together.
Logo and Design - A logo with interchangeable parts as well as a system for cover and interior layouts is yet to hammered out.
