Greetings Donut Lovers...

Looks like it's time to make the announcement.

Daily Magic Games has partnered with Gamewright to bring Go Nuts For Donuts to the mass market. Kickstarter backers will receive the full game with all 94 donut cards unlocked during the campaign. The retail version will contain approximately 70 cards with the remaining cards planned for use in promotions and as a future expansion.

Many of you had already guessed that Gamewright was our partner, so I'm happy to be able to confirm it, at last. Gamewright is an excellent fit for Go Nuts For Donuts, as our game often gets compared to their flagship game, Sushi Go. Gamewright approached us just after our Kickstarter campaign ended and we were very excited to have attracted their attention.

Gamewright's production policies do not allow for designer and illustrator names or partner logos on their box fronts, but the DMG logo along with Zach and Claire's names will all be on the box back.

So, that about wraps it up. In the coming weeks we'll be posting updates about the production process, new card layouts, and the timelines for backer shipments. Thanks for your patience and for your support in making Go Nuts For Donuts a success.

Congratulations! Real good job to the team who made the game possible.

@Daily Magic Games: I was just reading through the Comments section and saw that adding physical copies will not be possible. That's unfortunate.

Nice! Congrats again on the partnership! Can't wait to try it out.

@Daily Magic Games: Also, will you be offering backers a chance to add to their pledge? I'd be interested in getting a few copies to give as gifts.

@Daily Magic Games: Will the PnP be updated so those backers have the game everyone else is getting?

Also, I'll tell some of our good friends, who love Sleeping Queens and to whom I introduced Forbidden Island to over Christmas break, about GNFD...I'm sure the Gamewright name will make them all the more interested! And maybe, just maybe, it'll raise awareness for DMG and some of your other games, as well...

Ah, the publicity - the publicity!!!

      Mike Brodu,

Be happy it's only $1. People who backed Carrotia for $25 (admittedly, with shipping included -- but if you're in the USA it wouldn't have been much) have to see the game up for preorder on Cardhaus Games (who offer free shipping if you spend over a certain amount on your total order) for $12.86.

@Mike Brodu...Yes, I knew someone would comment on the MSRP that Gamewright has set, which is why I was certain to point out that the Kickstarter backers will be receiving over 30% more content that regular retail customers. Also, if there is additional postage costs then that is something that we or Gamewright will have to bear.

True. And I was aware of that. I was just making an observation, not a complaint.
I still wonder about shipping costs though. I hope they won't change.

To be fair on the MSRP difference, we basically got the future expansion for a dollar.

    13. Mike Brodu on January 12, 2017

      MSRP: $15...
      Backing the KS: $16
It's the first time I see a game more expensive if you back it on KS than wait for retail.
Will the shipping costs increase too, since the box is bigger?

Congrats! This is an excellent partnership. I can't wait to get my copy as I'm going to teach my coworkers and it'll be easy to tell them where to buy it. Already have them hooked on Sushi Go and other light games.

Great news! I called it as soon as I heard. They also picked up Supertooth, another one of my family's favorite games with the kids. My wife and I are really excited for you.
