METHOD: place video cameras inside of decorative objects to record viewer interaction in an art gallery, which is then broadcast to our website to be objectively evaluted by the Internet Public. A narrative will transpire.
To raise technology funds for our year-long project, we are offering donors to DADDY MARKET RESEARCH exclusive advertising and/or intervention space within our live feed. Plus, our piece is next to a big Julian Schnabel painting and a Pamela Anderson sex tape and you can be too.
Initiated by DADDY, DADDY MARKET RESEARCH embodies social science, research methodologies, participatory research, market research, consumption/collection, appearance/disappearance, interior design, exterior design, the Internet, the aesthetics of communication, education, miseducation, selfishness, and community.
This project is currently on view at the Bruce High Quality Foundation's Brucennial 2010: Miseducation (350 W. Broadway, NYC) through April 4th.
