Fantasies for Foreplay: An Erotic Storytelling Game
A supplement to Foreplay: An Erotic Storytelling Game to add genre content, kink, and more optional rules
This project will only be funded if it reaches its goal by Fri, March 1 2019 5:00 PM UTC +00:00.
Fantasies for Foreplay is the long-awaited supplement to the successfully kickstarted Foreplay: An Erotic Storytelling Game. It brings fantasy races, genre storytelling, new settings, and just a whole lot more content to the game that lets you take friends on a sexy adventure both in and out of game. If you'd like to know more about the core game, check out the prior Kickstarter page, linked earlier, then back this one and include it as an add-on. For now, I'll focus on Fantasies.
Fantasies for Foreplay started out as all the stuff that I thought was either too weird or too nerdy to put in Foreplay: An Erotic Storytelling Game. I had just opened a second file to save all those ideas in. Then, after Foreplay was finalized, I started taking a closer look at those ideas, filling them in and adding more until I now have a total page count higher than the core book. The majority of this content fell into five categories with a little bit extra for more alternate play modes (including a probably-ill-advised drinking game variant): magic/powers, monsters/races, scenarios, settings, and a campaign. The content is intended to largely fall into three types of settings (with examples of those three types included): modern/realistic (or at least as realistic as most porn or anime), traditional fantasy, and science fiction. Fantasies for Foreplay is looking to be significantly larger (same scale but more pages) than Foreplay was, so expect the post-Kickstarter prices to be higher than what you can get it for here.
Needless to say, Fantasies for Foreplay requires Foreplay: an Erotic Storytelling Game in order to be played.

Still art. Art's still expensive and still important to any tabletop RPG production.
Synaesthetics Illustration again. Synaesthetics did a great job for the first book, and I want to maintain a continuity with that aesthetic going into the second book, though if the campaign goes well, I'd definitely prefer to get more art this time around and am always open to putting a bit more color into the book.
And Who Are You?
I'm still me, D351. Mostly, I'm a person who wanted to have a game like this available and on my shelf. Aside from that, I'm mostly just a working class nobody who GMs tabletop games.
Risks and challenges
Really, just delays. Art takes time, and I’m not rushing the artist. I trust them to know their own process (and the current estimation is intended to be an upper maximum), but as we are able to afford more art, it means that it will take more time for the book to ship.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
