I notice that two of those articles make out that Myst single handedly founded the adventure genre. THAT IS NOT TRUE. Adventure games had existed for over a decade, and enjoyed considerable commercial success, when Myst came out. It pioneered a new TYPE of adventure game, but Zork, King's Quest, and Monkey Island were already well established.

I understand if Cyan don't want to appear begging or being pushy, but if people from the MOUL community don't know about this campaign - maybe if it's possible they should be made aware. PM as mentioned below or by email. If possible. Anyway I think Obduction is gonna make it, but it will be thight.

Hi I think everyone in the UK needs to know about this game, I am trying everything I can to get the word out over here and have roped in people to help but I am not sensing any response.
I so want this game and so do thousands of others all around the world, UK don't let me down.
Good luck with the stretch goals.

Hey, Cyan! Why don't you PM EVERYONE on your MOUL and Cyan forums, and tell about this kickstarter campaign?? I just happened to hear about this word-of-mouth two days ago! Been a MOUL member for years, and had no idea about Obduction! Get the word out, every way you can, so we all know to support this great-sounding project! Best of luck on this and all things Cyan! I want to be Obducted! : )

Great idea but 2am in the UK? Think I'll watch the recording. :-)

The 7th Guest 3: The Collector gave the Obduction Kickstarter a shout out today. See https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1559170459/the-7th-guest-3-the-collector/posts/650588

That's great to have a hangout, but that time doesn't give a chance to join to almost anybody in Europe. That is 2AM in London and 6AM in Moscow. If Brits could just wait couple of hours after midnight and I with my Russian fellows can wake early, everybody in the middle would be just sleeping =)

The Google hangout should be great -- see you all there!
